Vulpera Discussion Megathread (Part 1)

I’m talking 8.1 not 8.2+ :stuck_out_tongue: junker gnomes are coming in the future but not until 8.2…

8.1.5 you get Kul Tiran Humans

Junkgnomes do not even compare to the vulperas! I would be forced to give up the alliance, in case the devs decide to give us another insult of this kind!

I…was talking about the stuff on the ptr for 8.1 not about the ar themselves…does anyone bother reading what others actually post about before relying to them? <.<

Ya’ll get to raid a Horde city and kill a leader that from what I’ve seen on the forums the Horde playerbase would rather have instead of who they get.

not going to spam the vulpera thread with something not related to them. All I was stating was that 8.0 and 8.1 have been very horde centered, yes the alliance invades the horde city, but that is still fairly horde focused as the events circle around the horde and the story with their king and Talanji for the most part. At least from my understanding and how they made it sound.

the Vulpera quests shown on the ptr show the horde what they’re doing, as well as the story behind Sylvanas and Saurfang. So…all I was stating was that this expansion is very horde focused as of right now with the alliance getting very little to no intel about events that pertain to them in Kul Tiras except the events up in Stormsong, unlocking the 2-boss raid…which really pales in comparison to two full-fledged raids that the horde are directly and focused on as the main parts of the story.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining really, just an observation really. The patch isn’t out yet, so there might be a lot more happening alliance side, so who knows? We’ll find out in 2 weeks~

I feel like 8.1 is very night-elf centric though. And as for me personally, the Saurfang/Sylv thing is dull, I don’t care about or like either character. Which stinks. I’m not a fan of the horde content this expansion (aside from zones), it really doesn’t appeal to me. I miss Legion, and wish we could move along from the faction war, but that’s life. I hope both factions at least get some good ARs to make up for (what I see as) just a very dull storyline.

I kinda have to agree. While Alliance does have stuff to do, the Horde still gets a little more focus.

Just consider this: they announced that three characters were getting stories in 8.1: Tyrande, Saurfang and Vol’jin. At the time, I thought it meant Tyrande as Alliance content, Vol’jin as Horde content, and Saurfang for both. Instead, we got Tyrande for both (it’s the new Warfront’s prelude, so Horde gets to see things from their perspective) and Vol’jin and Saurfang are Horde-only. In essence, three storylines that Horde can play, and only one for Alliance.

I just hope Alliance has its turn to showcase its characters.

So true. I’ve never felt any desire to defect from Alliance to Horde until this expansion - and not because I find the Horde particularly appealing (not a fan of “Orcish culture” but because there’s just more to do and it seems more interesting and vibrant.

Also, I’m more than willing to defect for a Vulpera. I kind of feel like if I’m going to be a turncoat, a cunning little fox is a character type I can stomach playing through as Horde

I’m slowly coming to accept Vulpera. Nisha still needs to go though… maybe they can have her death be what unites the Vulpera to the Horde. Seriously, she’s annoying.

And thus the crutch of the matter.
:Good writing fixes everything. Even furry-bait.

I honestly never considered that one of the vulpera characters might die as part of their intro.

That’s… actually possible. Now I’m sad :<

Like her or hate her I think Nisha is an important character for the Vulpera and adds some edge to what, at first glance, is a bunch of cute fluffballs. It’s good to have some aggressive, interesting characters IMO!

Nisha also may play a role in pushing the currently neutral Sethrak toward the Alliance at some point. So she is cool in my book.

I agree, I sincerely doubt Nisha will stop killing sethrak just because they surrendered

Just like all those people who screeched about how if they didn’t have flying in the game on launch they wouldn’t buy BFA at all that are all running around on 120s?

Why bother? no amount of badgering is going to make Blizzard release them. They’ve said it’s a no-go for the foreseeable future. Regardless of reasons for the infatuation with this race, no amount of uber threads are going to make them happen.

show proof that they said this, show a blue post or something that provides solid evidence that they’re not.

Source? Because they never said it was a “no-go”. Give us the exact wording, and then you’ll realize that unlike how they said “no for Bfa” for High Elves, Wildhammers, & Blood Trolls, they did not use the same language, TWICE might I add, for Vulpera.

Never happening. Go back to the Q&A. They clearly said NOT HAPPENING IN THE FORSEEABLE FUTURE>

No amount of your crying threads will change reality.
