I think the blood elves are more elegant and sophisticated than cute and charming. It's a bit of a different aesthetic.
But as for the other topic, asking what Sylvanas might see in recruiting the Vulpera is a completely valid question to ask. I agree that this will be a situation of add them first, write the lore later. However, that lore will have to come and ideally it will still be compelling even if it is a secondary thought.
If I had to guess, there is one possibility that ties up the current speculation nicely.
I agree that Sylvanas would probably be way more interested in recruiting the Sethrak. However, were something to occur to drive the Sethrak into the alliance, that would pose a serious problem for the horde and the Zandalari. We know the horde is reeling from an alliance assault in 8.1. If the alliance gains access to a fortified port in Vol'dun, that would spell trouble for them. The Vulpera in this case would offer Sylvanas access to spies and soldiers not only familiar with the terrain and their enemy, but fiercely motivated to retribution. Sylvanas understands retribution pretty well, and would appreciate a force she need not fear betray her.
So what the Vulpera offer here is a check against an alliance incursion
Yeah and Sylvanas would get Nisha on board if it means getting revenge for her people because if there's one thing that drives that woman is revenge.10/20/2018 10:51 PMPosted by EeveeI think the blood elves are more elegant and sophisticated than cute and charming. As for creating a long term presence in the horde that extends beyond BFA, I see the Vulpera taking on the role of experts in guerilla warfare, more stealthy and surgical operations than orcs and trolls, but more violent and bloody than the roguelike goblins and forsaken. I expect Nisha to become something of a recurring character in small operations that include the horde player.

I'd love to see Nisha and Lilian team up. Vulpera fit the rogue idea a lot better than quite a few of the other races and they've got a good spread of character types to pull from.
10/20/2018 12:58 PMPosted by PhrenkI've been thinking.. what do the Vulpera actually bring to the Horde?
How would they not be useful?
They're very cunning, resourceful, and can be vicious fighters when push comes to shove. They can serve as effective assassins and supply runners. They're also not afraid to get their hands dirty; morals don't seem to be all too high on their list of priorities, which is a big plus in Sylvanas's book.
I, for one, would love to see Vulpera as a playable race. The sethrakk not so much, I say leave them to the alliance. I think vulpera would be a lot of fun, and the horde definitely needs more cute/friendly looking races. It balances things out.

That's pretty much the main argument, Yes =3
You should look at the screenshots we took at the foxtober event. Vulpera fit in Orgrimmar pretty well.
I bet we'll know at Blizzcon if we get them anytime soon :D I hope so anyway. Looking forward to rolling my fox! Please Blizz!
I already got a 3 names saved for my foxes and 3 for my sneks if they get announced.10/21/2018 11:54 AMPosted by FallynnI bet we'll know at Blizzcon if we get them anytime soon :D I hope so anyway. Looking forward to rolling my fox! Please Blizz!

Me Too! ^^
I plan to make at least 2 vulperas when they are put in the game!
And 2 sethraks, if they're announced to the Alliance!
I already have the names ready!
Be a comrade, Aunt Blizz!
I spent over 2 hours thinking about names for vulperas and sethraks!
It would be a waste to throw those names off!
i plan on rerolling my hunter and rogue to vulpera as soon as soon as i can. game is getting stale with orcs/humans and reskins
All I can say about the Vulpera is that it's going to look lazy as all hell when they start doing the goblin dances. (I'm a Nightborne. I know what I'm talking about).
I plan to make a fresh rogue for my vulpera and if Setherak go Ally let alone become a thing I plan to make a fresh warlock for my Alliance side hopefully they can be warlock.10/21/2018 06:36 PMPosted by Ðîstraçtîoni plan on rerolling my hunter and rogue to vulpera as soon as soon as i can. game is getting stale with orcs/humans and reskins

I saw those pictures and nearly died; it was kind of freaky how well they blended into the environment - it's like they were tailor made for it. :D

I feel you there (currently working on leveling a Dark Iron Dwarf)
Who here's guilty for making profiles and saving names for their vulpera? XD I know they aren't official but I still hope.

I'm hoping that the Vulpera are so different from their goblin donors that Blizzard decides they might as well make a custom dance rather than try to adapt the goblin one.
It's guess you'd call it a stretch goal
Allied race speculation video, and of course I'm not just posting this be side Vulpera are number one on the list. Not at all!

It's absolutely possible. They've already given them their own custom casting animations, so maybe?

The number of unique animations they've been given over simply adjusting goblin ones is certainly very promising, but a full /dance would be the most complex animation to do. So I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high.
