The deep end is where the good fish are. People should stay out of the shallow end.
Yeah, who wants to be boring and shallow? (Maybe someone playing a human, I guess. )
Given weāve been at this for over two years, it would seem we entered the deep end in late 2017
Vulpera wonāt be my main (Paladins for life!) but it certainly makes for a nice change from all the males either being overly buff, overly tall, ugly, or all three at once.
Iāll finally be able to break my trend of making Blood Elf alts.
3 days left!
Thats still too many!
You really need to do better next timeā¦
Or 259,200 seconds.
Itās true that itās a new model, but Farmer had specifically stated new race; which if weāre going to go with that you could technically add the Nightbourne and Void Elves into that for their respective alignments.
Itās just, in general, the Alliance allied races have been pretty meh. The Horde allied races have been all over the place; either boring as hell or somehow controversial in their inclusion. At least for me they have.
I canāt wait to never be able to play as or even interact with one, why people celebrate the scam that is locking races behind rep grinds in an already faction divided game is beyond me.
whats the scam?
Yes
10 characters
Now make thin Kultirans a playable option
Nobody seems to remember what a scam is. Protip: That aināt it.
all they really need to do is after SLs releases make the first four ARās like only revered to get access too, and then when the expac after SLs comes out make the BfA ones go down to reveredā¦ and increase the rep gains.
They do that and theyāll be fairly likely to have players trying to get them en masse still. Only thing stopping my husband from going to get their Legion available ARās is that they didnāt play that expac and its still exalted for some reason.
Blizzard just needs to make sure their legacy content is actually legacy content.
Its misdirection at the least.
Not really. They are specific about how new Allied Races will be unlocked whenever they announce them. Itās all openly available knowledge.
So why all this time do they do this with races now? For years everyone thought that once you buy the expac you buy the new races or classes.
Because Allied Races are a new feature. They do not function like those other races and Blizzard has been clear about that fact since the day the feature was announced at BlizzCon 2017. You may not like having to play the game to earn the Allied Races, but it has always been a part of the feature. And requiring players to accomplish certain things to unlock features is a legitimate part of an MMO - not a scam or misdirection, it is how the genre works.

Also its noteworthy that most expansions where a race or two were added, it was ONLY a race or two. Two for BC, Two for Cata, One for both factions for MoP.
BfA has had 10 races added by 8.3. 5 for each Faction.
Its not a raw deal. Its just annoying. lol
