You donât earn a new race or class.
But if youâre ok with having to âearnâ basic gameplay, donât cry about the road it leads down in a few years when youâre kicked to the curb.

Itâs not basic gameplay. Core races are. These are allied races. Theyâre special.
How exaclty? What is your apocolyptic prediction?

And if you want to know the future, just look at the trend in time commitment.
All the allied races gave you plenty of time to unlock them before they were available except for Magâhar and Dark iron and you unlocked them more or less through the normal gameplay of playing the expansion.
I see no Apocalypse. âTime commitmentâ What time commitment? I got them all easily. By just playing the game more or less how I already did. I just had to do a tiny but more. And if gives me something to do.
Allied races are by definition special races. They are allied. You need to earn their trust and respect.

Yeah, I kinda like the canopy now that they fixed the physics on the lantern. (And itâs cool that the lantern is actually a light source)
PTR just went down. Presumably for that server wipe. Iâm hoping weâll see a new build, too.
Hopefully today but who knows. Bliz is blizz. Small indie dev. Canât expect too much from them.

In case anyone missed it, wowhead datamining of new build shows an alpaca mount dropping from the world boss in Volâdun.

Honestly, its kind of amazing how varied and customizable Vulpera are despite only having 5 selections for what you can change. It feels like each one looks completely different from one another- Though thatâs likely helped by the fact there are so many fur color options, coupled with the ear types.

And since their ears and tails are still completely visible through their armor, two vulpera can still look distinctly different just by changing the ear shape or fur color. Even if they have the same transmog.

A) Blizzard hates and despises us players.
B) Blizzard is a small indie dev that canât afford to push out a patch before the holidays.
C) Blizzard is trying to shrink the content drought between last BFA patch and the pre patch by delaying this patch so part of the drought is felt now. Thus artificially making the actual drought not seem as severe.
D) Blizzard doesnât want players enjoying 8.3 over the holidays. Theyâre afraid that the content would take people away from their family and loved ones and thus decided to take away our autonomy and choice in the matter and also punish those who do not celebrate the holidays or who do not have family. This is the official reason. (Although it seems odd as they had no problem doing it last year).
E) Blizzard messed something up horribly and need extra time to fix it.
F) Blizzard ran out of hamsters and is on back-order for replacement hamsters.
G) Blizzard is meanie heads.
H) All of the above.
