Not just an alpaca charity pet, but they said it would be for sale in early December. If it is part of 8.3 PTR data, that means 8.3 before/at that time. Even if it’s not in the PTR data… c’mon, it’s an alpaca, it pretty much has to release alongside Vulpera going live. It’s too perfect.

It looks like 8.3 will be coming out this November. The code for the new charity pet is on 8.3 ptr. So it has to drop in November, so it is on live servers by December first when the charity pet will be available.

I am like pretty sure the patch will drop sooner rather than later but we’re going to have a bit of a wait for the raid.

With Shadowlands coming and the pre purchase giving us the option to make our new DKs early I am really hoping 8.3 comes soon but not too soon they screw something up.
Blizzard please take your time with 8.3 yes we want our Vulperas and our new DKs but we also want this patch being the final BFA one to be tested really well and to release with few problems.

Let them release a prepatch, 8.2.9 if you will, to unlock vulpera and meckagnomes and then they can release 8.3 later after we’ve had time to level new toons for a bit.

I’ve still got about 23000 rep to go and hoping to get it done in time.
Although, I’ve also been contemplating making my nelf druid into a high mountain tauren, and that would see me right.
Probably won’t be on the PTR. That’s a Shadowlands thing. Especially since I’m sure they’re redoing the DK starter zone to account for them.
… Huh, then again maybe not? Since DKs will start at 1, and Vulpera DKs will start at 10… Still, Shadowlands, not 8.3.
For anyone who plans on joining Night Fae in Shadowlands, you’ll get the ability to shape shift into a spirit fox that resembles the vulpine familiar mount.
