I feel like Iām repeating this a lot lately. I promise from the bottom of my heart that not every elf player is like that.
ā¦Though, maybe Iām just an outlier.

I am also waiting on another game. Warframe. The next major (major) patch is coming up sometime this week. They never give specific days and was meant to come out last week but got delayed. Once thatās out Iāll have plenty to do until foxes. New warframe, story continues, new kitty kat. Lots to do.
Also project Gorgon. But doubt that update will hit before Vulpera. Still plenty for me to do. Not even level cap. So been playing that mostly as I wait. Small indie game while I wait for big not indie game to come out with stuff.
I was so excited for Zandalari but I really feel the little foxes calling to me. I will race change and level a something or other (maybe a warrior tank?) for the heritage armor.
ā¦I totally leveled in Voldun first and it was my first rep to get to exaltedā¦Just in case, you seeā¦
Well if the patch wonāt drop by Blizzcon I will have Luigiās mansion 3 and Pokemon to tide me over if we are expecting a Dec update or further.
If I kill an orange one, can I wear their tail as a necktie? Or that too fantastic for Azerothās Mr. Fox?
They already beat ya to this.
Looks like theyāre clearing all the current characters off the PTR next Tuesday, and weāll be able to see the new intro for vulpera characters.
Looks like I misread it, itās the introduction questline for the new patch. May or may not include the new vulpera character introduction.
A female vulpera hunter with a gun while out of range but auto attacking lays their gun up on their shoulder like ratchet and clank until you go into range and resume autoattack. Its clear they are doing some special stuff with ranged weapons and are probably working on that kind of stuff.
What does this mean, Vulpera live soon?
I imagine weāll get the cinematic trailer for 8.3 during blizzcon, hopefully along with a release date.
Finalest rep update for reals: Got to 20, 800 off dailies and finished it off by spamming out a couple expeditions for a shiny shell. Got my hyena, bought the armor for the appearance. Iām ready to be very foxy right as they release!
Looks like we might still have a while to wait, as one of the latest blue posts mentions changes coming to the PTR āin the coming weeksā
Maybeā¦ but remember when they said weād see 8.2.5 within several weeks and it was released a week and a half later? I think we could still see 8.3 before November ends.
From my experience in the PTR we still have a long ways to go. In the current build many items still have [PH] in their name and see NPCs saying stuff like [DNT][DLT]. They still got to get some phasing issues work out as well. I took a level 86 Rouge into Uldum only to be met by packs of 120 toons. I doubt Blizzard intends to take out an entire questing zone for the 80-90 tier. We are also entering the Holiday season as well so thatās going to impact the release date as well.
Weāll see. I just checked 8.2, which was probably the largest patch of this expansion - in terms of content - it was on PTR for two months. But 8.3 doesnāt seem to have nearly that amount of content, so it would need slightly less. It hit PTR at the beginning of this month, I think the end of November is a reasonable estimate. But weāll see. I think weāll get a date at BlizzCon.
Edit P.S.: Early December is possible, too. And theyāve released content, then. Most notably, Cataclysm. In which case, the raid would then unlock in January.
Wowhead has uploaded a video of the Vulpera racial mount:
Includes several animations, including walking and jumping.
And Blizzard goes on giving additional polishes to our vulperas!
I doubt theyāre gonna delay it until after the holidays thatās not realistic. More likely late november release but raids will wait until jan. Pretty sure they did something similar in the past with a raid patch.
I had considered race changing a hunter to Vulpera until I noticed the serpent seems to be a unique look with Sevriss being the closest in appearance.
Fortunately, many of the various tameable foxes are available in Eastern Kingdoms at low level.
