New ptr build is up.
It turns out the previously exploding pack at the campsite is there to let you unequip the wagon canopy from your racial mount.

Found a video showing the campsite racial. There is now a short cut scene of your Vulpera getting out of a caravan wagon to arrive at their campsite when you click the skill to return to it:

It doesnāt seem like a lot was done advancing Vulpera this build. Documented audio bugs remain. Hoods no longer cause vulpera mouths to disappear, but cheek clipping is still a problem and a handful of unique-looking headpieces are still not implemented. Lastly, the Choose-your-own-utility racial is still NYI
Edit: I knew I was forgetting something. Nilsa gives you a quest to get a tabard and points you towards a quest board. Her dialogue implies she was part of the events that brought you to Orgrimmar, though there arenāt many specifics to be found.

Logged onto the PTR and found myself in awe of just how much care and effort went into the Vulpera.
I was expecting a re-skinned goblin with identical animations but holy cowā¦ Blizzard really outdid themselves with the facial animations, voice acting, and overall aesthetic.
Much applause to you, Vulpera devs!

Really, IMHO, vulperas are the only thing that saved BfA!

Some people are pessimistic. But Iām thinking the first tuesday (that is a solid week) after blizzcon. Mid November.

All other considerations aside, there is one thing in patch 8.3 that Blizzard would NEVER put live without the most thorough testing:
The new Auction house.
If your mount glitches, your mount glitches
If your raid boss has cheese, you hotfix it next week and a week of free loot goes out
If the auction house has a repeatable exploit, you can create damage to the in-game economy so severe you might have to do rollbacks. It would be one of the biggest disasters in WoW history.
a fictional econmy is a fictional econmy. Itād balance out quickly enough.
If an exploit is discovered that basically allows players to get the auction house to make free gold appear (Which is not an impossible scenario) the economy could not be fixed with anything but a rollback.
Billions of gold would enter the economy from the exploiters. You couldnāt solve this problem by simply banning the exploiters because this gold would not sit in their accounts. They would quickly buy every single item they could get their hands on that honest people listing. The price of tokens would skyrocket as they purchase all the available game tokens for REAL WORLD CURRENCY. Gold would become instantly worthless except to the people behind the curve who are now buying tokens to sell for the massive prices hoping theyāll be able to keep the gold when the disaster settles.
It gets really bad quickly.
And Highmountain Tauren have a racial moose mount, and both Draenei flavors can ride goats.
Seems easy to just roll back any who exploited. Doubt itās hard to track people who had a massive amount of gold added to their account randomly.
And what do you do about all the gold they spent on other peopleās listings on the auction house?
What do you do about the skyrocketing token price created by the demand of not only the exploiters but the people selling high ticket items honestly who all got paydays from the exploiters buying their stuff?
What do you do about all the high ticket items basically being destroyed after ending up in a banned personās account?
What do you do about all the things all the players bought with real world currency they got from buying tokens?
If the auction house launches with an exploit, any kind of exploit, the damage will not be limited to just the player doing the exploit. It will affect entire servers and even the real life economy of the wow-token

Been pretty bummed out lately at the way the story is heading WRT Sylvanas, but knowing Iāll be able to play as an adorable fox warms my dead heart.
Already have the rep done, so I get my foxie on day 1.
