Never had one to start with.
Donât lie to me. You play WoW.
And that means I have a nerd card?
Donât know why it wouldnât. Not like itâs a bad thing.
True I was just confused haha All good
Wouldnât worry about the tribble stuff, though. Thatâs old, old-school Star Trek. William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy Trek. Tribbles were fast-multiplying little balls of fluffy evil.
I donât really see any one as the absolutely best. But Im having fun with my Vulpera.
Oh, they use the troll model? Well, I guess that kind of proves the point I was making to the other person then. If people struggle to tell what skeletons these ARâs are actually reusing, it seems pretty reductive to just call Vulpera, for instance, goblins with fur.
I think Vulpera and Zandalari are the best because I feel like theyâre actually a new thing. With my limited lore knowledge of trolls, Iâm personally fine with the Zandalari not just becoming a body option for Darkspear unlike the Kuâtiran because (I think?) theyâre biologically different from Darkspear. But if the lore difference between the two tribes really is just the same as the difference between the kingdoms of Stormwind and Kulâtiras, then straight-backed Trolls really shouldâve been a body option as well.
For trolls, Iâd really like to see a buff option as well as more customization options from other tribes. It feels like with Kulâtiras being thrown into the mix, the Alliance are unifying the human kingdoms, so the Horde ought to incorporate more Troll tribes in-lore and in-customization.
In lore regular trolls can very much stand up straight, the darkspear mainly hunch to not tower over the other Horde races as a show of respect. While the zandalari stand with a straight back due to their pride and showcasing their âeleganceâ. No reason zandalari canât be hunched and âskinnyâ either, most notable example is Zul.
And the differences between the different troll races in appearance is mainly small height differences, skin tones and other such small details, about the same level of differences as between DID, bronzebeard dwarf and wildhammer dwarves. And I donât think it would be insane if those three dwarf races was in a single race with a bunch of customization options to mix and match.
Edit: adding some pictures showing the trolls so itâs easier to see how alike they are. The zandalari are not that much bulky compared to the darkspear, itâs on the same level as the dracthyr options. The second picture is of a zandalari using a regular troll texture with no editing of it, showing how well it already fit without any adaption, only problems are really the tusks not showing and the jewelry.
Also posting a picture of Zul and Zulâjin to show trolls not having the âstandard postureâ of their so called race.
I love running a key with a vulpera death knight. They are ridiculously cute <3
I wish Cat People were on the Alliance. Then thereâll be a fair balance of Animal like Races.
As a normie with Troll lore and info, itâs been really weird becoming more fascinated with Zandalari because of how cool they are and then realizing (from their shared culture with the Darkspear) that the âdefaultâ trolls were already pretty cool to begin with, but just got no attention from Blizz outside of novels. I really wish they didnât kill my man Volâjin in the way they didâit wouldâve been so cool to see the Horde reinvented with more troll aesthetics rather than the undead ones they went for.
Hopefully, the writers donât forget that, like, half of the Horde military would now realistically be Zandalari after the Fourth War. They should honestly be treated as a core race at this point and I hope they decide to incorporate them into the Horde story/culture in Dragonflight.
Says the orc (the best race in World of Warcraft)
EDIT: Although MagâHar are cooler.
Definitely the coolest race (Vulera) they ever added. VERY jealous of the Horde. The High Mountain Taurens are cool too, but they should have gone further with them to create new mannerisms, I am guessing the other races are similar. Just feels lazy on the dev side. Love to see more new stuff like the Vulera for Alliance too. I also really like the quest chain/achievement that is required to get these guys. Well worth my time.
They are very nice
Our legs are pretty creepy.
Nine months later.
Our luxurious bushy tails distract from our legs.
extra bag space and a mark/recall spell once an hour and a resting zone anywhere in the open world.
Best race for my game.
Best race to incinerate yes
