It’s kinda just weird though because why in their right mind would they actually do what they are doing? Faction favoritism is a BAD thing for profit and game health. It’s outright delusional to act like there is no favoritism for the horde from blizzard. It’s really shameful. I get that all the devs play horde, but seriously, show some pride over your game. There is more than just the horde. The alliance are not npcs.

Some of our already playable races both Horde and Alliance simply do not have the cleanest of track records. The Factions themselves I might add. Why would the Faithless need to be innocent “do gooders” to join the Alliance?

The irony will be that the Horde will become 36.5% Vulpera instead of 36.5% Blood Elves, and suddenly the Void Elves will become much more popular.

It IS disappointing watching Blizzard do stuff like this over and over again though. Someone really, really needs to do an intervention for their bad ideas.
I feel like they need to be squirted with a spritzer by someone going “no no!” like a cat trying to eat your house plants.

It’s like:
“Hey Jonny, you know the lamest race in the game that despite being one of the original races with decent racials, is still one of the least popular and least played races in the game?”
“Oh, you mean Gnomes?”
“Yeah… Let’s make more of them… but also give them rusty appendages and diapers.”

I doubt blizz really put much thought into it.
They could have been really neat having all sorts of spiffy gimicks.
The rp parody potential. Transhumanisn ideas. Augmented body parts with built in weapons. Iron man parodies. The borg. Inspecter gadget.
With classes like druids and shamans. You have transformer parodies or elemental bending through science.
But blizz really just half baked it. I don’t see many mecha gnomes getting played in the long run.

Burning tree = Enemies dying
Raising her allies = if I die in battle, I’d love to come back in any form to claw my killer’s eyes out with my fingers.
Blighting = just another weapon, wars aren’t won by hugs.
Making Derek a bomb = any dirty trick to win the war is fine.
Mak’gora = that dumb traitor emo orc challenged her and got leveled in seconds.
You all are nothing = truer words were never said. Shadowlands is the proof.
