Vulpera are already getting monetized by third parties everywhere they are so unique and popular

the day the wow died

And that’s the thing. If it were done correctly, you could create a Vulpera, then choose for it to be on the Alliance. Problem solved, but as I stated in my post, that will never happen thanks to ***holes like Bobby Kotick.

Main issue is how ugly the gnomes are. When they could have been much better.

As far as tails go i have seen a mix of werewolves with and without. And looking at some of the early promo and concept art for worgen. Some do in fact have tails.

Why not let a tail be an option? For me it’s not cute for worgen to have tails. Their model looks physically incomplete. It’s physically off setting as if the model just never got finished.

When i am on my one worgen toon. My mind is constantly questioning the lack of a tail.

i said this months ago and everyone downvoted me and said that they said in MoP that they were never going to do a bi-faction race like pandaren again.

That was way back in MoP when they were bleeding out hundreds of thousands of active users a month.

Maybe if you want to work on a BRAND NEW race like vulpera and put all the effort in that one race, just let both factions have it at the end of the expansion in the last patch.

The alliance never should have had any beef with the vulpera and vice versa we were supposedly way too busy with the fourth war to even help the night elves after their genocide. Same with the vulpera. They should know better than to stick their noses in an one of the deadliest wars since the black empire fell. Why would they be safer with the horde? The horde that just committed genocide? See plot holes galore it’s just such a mess now.

Whatever. Don’t care. I don’t personally give a damn what Sylvanas’ plan is or what happens story-wise I’ve just given up on any of that.

Some do, most do not. Official concepts dating back to 2009, especially by artist Wei Wang, do not have tails. I genuinely think any art featuring their tails only occurs due to a miscommunication between relevant parties, with the artist ultimately believing that a tail was part of the original concept when it actually never was. This is a minor case of the Mandela effect, and we recently saw it happen with Christie Golden where she accidentally stuck a tail on Genn Greymane in Before the Storm.

IIRC gnome faces aren’t any uglier than the default options already present in vanilla gnomes. The fact that you get to hide most of the face with excellently-designed mechanical features is a huge plus for me.

Even something like this… I dunno. I know it’s a matter of taste and we’ll have to agree to disagree, but I personally find appearances like this to be super cool. Like, what other race lets you have massive blinking computer-screen eyes? They’re steampunk as hell and adorable to boot!

I have saved on my comp some pictures of early wow worgen art i forget by whom of 2 beautiful worgen ladies. They both apear to have tails.

The models flow just seems off without a tail to me.

It would honestly be more ideal if blizz just gave players the choice.

Vulpera just ruined WoW for me.

That would be fair. If it’s really such a big deal for people then the upcoming new customization options in Shadowlands would be the best time to add that feature. Apparently draenei are getting customizable tail lengths. You could do something like that with the worgen, although I guess they’d have to come up with a new tail model first. Can’t just slap the vulpera’s on 'em. That’d look awkward.

Come to think of it, it probably wouldn’t be lore breaking to establish worgen tails anyway. All other druid forms perfectly match their animal inspirations to a T. Bear form is identical to bears, cat form is identical to cats, etcetera.

Wolves have tails. Even though it isn’t established in lore that worgen ever had them, I would be able to swallow the possibility that some worgen individuals could have them.

I just personally wouldn’t use it on mine.

If Vulps could have been Druids, they would have 100% taken over. I think that is the only reason why they can’t be is because Blizzard was like well . . . we like money but not that much money.

They’re not cute, though. They’re creepy Chuck E Cheese rejects. And those, I don’t want in my horde. Oh, well.

From what i know about of 3d models, skeletons, rigging, and texture files. I would think the proes could reuse either dreanei or vilpira tails with tweaks to make it work for worgen.

Heck fans have made incredably impressive work just for fun.

I saw a fan done animation of a tailed worgen with hd heritage armor. And they used gens heroes of the storm model as a base.

From a lore point of view you could say your worgen has become even more wolf and less human. Thus further changing to be even more wolf like.

Furries are an infection upon soci- Oops ahem I mean they are a growing community and are probably still getting bigger and bigger. Vulpera fits that appeal for many people of course they are popular. It’s not an issue in my opinion either let people like what they like. And if you think it’s horde bias we got Worgen and a Bee mount. The Bee mount is the ultimate trump card though to be honest.

it’s not like it’s just the vulpera alone killing me, it’s death by a thousands cuts…

Like you see the Vulpera and the diaper babies and your eye starts twitching a little.

Then you see the new races in shadowlands and notice the alliance only have fugly horse men with thicc female draenei legs and faces that look like they got hit with a shovel, and the other “alliance” race coming in shadowlands? Blue female Kul Tirans.

Blue. Female. Kul Tirans.

OH COME ON!

Um… I’m going to make one because new race and all… but I’m not going to get my acrylics out over it. I think you’re overreacting a bit to something in a game.

Are you an Alliance only player that really likes cute furry stuff or something? Your whole post is really weird.

None of the races in Shadowlands correspond to the two factions. There’s nothing stopping you from joining Revendreth or Maldraxxus, and they’d be more than happy to have you.

isn’t your guild name a reference to that section on craigslist where people would look for strangers to have sex with?

Vulpera have nothing on Tarutarus. Like not even close. Blizzard has nothing on Square outside of UI and combat response actually, come to think of it.

This is the worst take I’ve ever seen

I’m glad we’re getting gnomes with metal arms and legs, the gnome community has been asking for years…

Yeah? Lol what the hell does that have to do with what I said ?

I dunno man, I don’t see a hungry feral wolf in the middle of the wilderness as unintimidating because it has a tail.

They’re werewolves, not werebears, tails could be justified it you wanted to make your werewolves have them.
