Vrykul are cool. Playing lemix and got to stormheim and I’m reminded just how much I love them. They look awesome. They sound awesome. I forgot how much I enjoy Havi’s voice. And how much I enjoy saying “Valdisdall”.
Blizz, please give us playable vrykul. The tideskorn should have joined the alliance after Sylvanas tried to enslave Eyir.

You could argue all races of Azeroth could or should join the Alliance after Sylvanas
Blizzard’s terrible writing of the Horde has done unfathomable damage to the faction overall.
It feels irreparable … I guess we shall see.
As for Vrykul – I think you could argue various clans to join either faction as a neutral race and draw them out with their own unique culture’s & values far better than they did that of the Pandaren or Dracthyr. Whether Blizzard have the writing skills to do so, or are willing to put in the effort however — Is another story.

We’ll definitely see Vrykul in The Last Titan, which would be the time to add them as a playable race. I don’t think they will be, though. I think Vrykul will follow the path of the Amani: Never playable. The wishes of players dismissed by Blizzard in favor of their next flavor of the month elf or dwarf race.

If you ask me, Amani for horde and Vrykul for alliance just sounds like a sweet deal.

Vrykul would never join the alliance. You can have the Amani and WE will take the vrykul!!
Yeah this is my #1 new playable race wish. Maybe some day they will… Last Titan seems like it could fit.

I’d love to pkay a vrykul warrior!
I wonder if they’d have to make the playable version smaller?

All they’d need to do is make up a clan that didn’t kick their humans out when they appeared.
Thousand years later and now you have a clan of Vrykul who are Tauren sized.

Stormheim has been my first remix zone and I am progressing through the quests and I have great nostalgia for all of it.
I love everything about the vrykul and I really wish they were playable.
Even if they were smaller or even human sized. They cooked so well with the vrykul faces and frames and it’s a such a shame they were never added.

If the devs don’t add vrykul as a neutral race in TLT after the uproar over earthen, haranir, high elves, and Amani, then their decisions over which NPC races get promoted to playability will be met with further animosity and ridicule. Vrykul are a perfect race for regaining some good will, at least among the people who want new races and wouldn’t complain about them being their own race instead of additional body types for humans. They’re a prominent force and already have precedent to have every class barring DH and evoker.
All the speculation I see about TLT is related to tinkers, but another race is more likely and I, personally, would prefer being able to make a proto-drake-riding vrykul paladin, hunter, and maybe warlock.
So genuinely and authentically cheesy that I can’t help but like ya.

Players: please give us playable races based on the ones we see in gameplay.
Blizzard: Say no more… We got you
(Haranir get released)
Players: What the fu…?!

I’ve always hoped that Blizz could find a way around the size issues and that would open the door for Vrykul on the Alliance and Ogres for the Horde.
Honestly, Vrykul are one of the few Alliance races I’d actually like to play (same with Furbolgs).
And hey, look at that, how convenient it opens up the door for us to get playable Amani now that blue team gets something.
Just FYI, people make too much of size issues.
For Ogres, if you pair the Kovork Kostume with an Elixir of Giant Growth, you’ll be turned into an Ogre larger than many Azerothian Ogre NPCs (like the ones in Alterac Mountains). Tauren, for reference, will come up to shoulder height on you.
And even while being larger than an Ogre would actually need to be, there’s only a single door in Orgrimmar that actually gives you trouble, and only if you try to get stuck on it.
Obviously the Alliance has smaller doors, but Vrykul also have a wider range of acceptable sizes.

I like when I go to talk to an NPC and they shout,
I SPIT ON YOU!!!
