wow look it’s the easily foreseen unintended consequences of Blizzard’s shortsighted and bad decision to extend the deserter debuff…
On an alt and with a hidden profile? Somehow I doubt it.
They can’t even form a sentence.
Clearly they are trolling. Throw them in the avoid and let them cook.
Or, at least the entire group told the game that they wanted this person gone.
Okay, tahnk you for repeating that for the like 5th time. I’ve heard you and still disagree. You CAN move on.
I mean you can disagree all you want, that’s what happened lol.
Theres nothing to agree with. If you got kicked, its cause the entire group hit yes. I don’t understand what you’re trying to argue here lol
The solution to this ‘problem’ if it ever needed a solution (I disagree that it does) is simple, anyway.
You just build inconvenience into the tool.
Make vote kicking have some small level of tedium involved to initiate, and people will do it as a kneejerk reaction to things far less.
Does it take the entire group? I’m 99% sure it only takes the majority (3 of 5)
Blizzard needs to get rid of the vote kick system. If you don’t like how something is going, simply leave the party. If somebody is griefing, then leave the party.
9 times out of 10, the people who will end up with the deserter debuff are the ones demanding perfection from pugs and being vile human beings. Where the debuff should be.
If 3 are in a group, it takes the entire rest of the group, all 4, for it to pass.
you’ll have to ignore that one. lol…and even if you do they’ll still hang on your every post just like theyre doing mine…lmao…DESPERATE for attention in here lol
3/5, unless those 3 are a pre-made going in, in which case the 4th needs to agree.
Only time something like that would happen from what I know of it, Would be if you brought up damage numbers for a specific player. “Hey you jimbob the black mage you’re damage numbers are low”. Because you wouldn’t know it was specifically that player unless you had addons which are not allowed in that game.
He didn’t get kicked because you’re not a mindless automaton, but you did because the others were. People are great, huh?
The group didnt have enough votes to kick the first guy, but enough of them agreed to kick OP. That alone should tell you that enough people wanted him gone
Sure, let’s punish the more casual players in their queued content by making it easier to troll them in rare instances.
No, we’re not removing the player agency of the vote kick. It’s been here since Wrath, it works fine.
There’s clearly more to the story than you’re sharing. Not saying it didn’t happen, saying I’m pretty sure you’re leaving important details out. Like how did they know you voted no? It’s not advertised who voted what. A logical guess could easily be made but out of curiosity were the other three players in the group from the same guild?
I do keys or I don’t do keys. You can’t vote kick I keys.
Bricking keys is not an issue anymore. That was already resolved.
Vote kicking is a place holder system. It is there but not there for a reason.
They should completely remove it and see what is happening. How is the community taking this.
That would be a good step.
You dont vote kick in keys because the leader can just kick without a vote. The vote isn’t required, one person can remove anyone at a whim.
