If they donât break this addon, but they broke Rare Share, they have their priorities REALLY messed up.

Ive never done an heroic island expedition
To be fair a 3 day old 120 now is perfectly capable of doing much more than the OP did. I think by the end of the first day my last ones were pushing 380 with all the benthic and crafted stuff bumping up WQs. They either had the gear to do heroics and were idling, or they had slacked in the gearing up and were intentionally being carried by running something they werenât geared enough to do. So⊠yeah⊠mooching.
That being said, I wouldnât kick them, but I also wouldnât be carrying them again unless they were my friend and we went into it with the mooch pre-arranged. Iâm perfectly happy to carry people but not when itâs assumed they are entitled to it because reasons.
That text kind of makes it clear as to why the kick was initiated which is more than most people get when theyâre booted. If I had to group for islands Iâd probably run that mod/script just to see my âscoreâ at the end. It doesnât seem to me that the mod is the issue so much as whether people think kicking from islands should be allowed at all or not.
Sad that you donât have the spine to post such bad behavior on your main, so we can all block you.

That addon is straight up antisocial behaviour. I say ban everyone using it. If you have an issue with other people in your group you can use your words like an adult.
Donât like it? The bare minimum is already locked from the queue system.
Still donât like it? Make your own groups and control every little detail your antisocial heart desires.
This addon is griefing.

Never? Itâs called weakauras and is used for 99.99999% things other than kicking ppl from heroic islands.
Some basement virgin made a WA to kick in heroic islands lul.

I wonât do IEs unless I go with a friend - it means we canât be kicked. I did try PuGing and even though I could tank the entire island and complete it in 1 or 2 pulls, I got kicked by people who clearly didnât understand how to read patch notes⊠So that was enough of that.
(ALthough I did report those people, took screenshots, proved they broke the CoC, and got verification after escalating it that the case was proved and those 2 who were in a progression raid guild, and they got dealt with - I honestly hope their raid was borked that week).
Upshot is - less PuGs benefit from when my guild needs IEs. This is how Bliz wants it to be, so that is how it is.
3-4 minutes if you get a good IE, one that does not have much or any CC. And if you run a DH or Vampiric Seed you will literally have no issues to take half the island at once.
Which is what made no sense to me about being kicked, I still gained over 6K AZ from a 9K max AZ island, 1 more minute and it would have been over, by the time the next person gets in queue they would have been all but done and that next person would have done nothing, than had to re-queue.
Itâs not just the one person who was kicked, but the second person who has had time, albeit not much, but still had time wasted by getting in and out only to have to queue again.
Yes but doing the absolute maximum your character is capable of doing at the iLVL at or above what is allowed by Blizzard should also not be something that is looked down upon.
Just because YOU want someone to contribute faster by opening chests or mining, or that guy wants someone to pull into a meat grinder and cannot accept randoms join into a random queue does not mean the person who is doing whatever it is they do is not acceptable to Blizzard.
Itâs a different story entirely if you were doing nothing or running around looking like you were doing something, but in fact was doing nothing. But when players are trying, bad luck.
You deal with it, I deal with it on my geared characters, everyone else deals with it, it happens, you get new players, you get ones who donât like pulling big, you get some who all they want to do is mine, each to their own and if someone is contributing you leave them be, if they are not, you attempt to vote them out.
Bruh u had 700 IE pts thats like 3 nodes / chests. U donât need ilvl to mine the azerite and open chests.
OkâŠwell just because YOU want to follow the tank around doing 0 dps and contributing nothing to your team when you could be opening chests and helping finish the island faster doesnât mean you have immunity to being kicked.
It boils down to this. You queued for content with randoms and decided to not help the team in the most optimal way. I personally wouldnât kick you for this, as I donât feel that being a noob and making my island take 1 minute longer warrants ruining your day.
However, some people will be sufficiently annoyed by your choices and interpret it as mooching, and give you das boot. Such is life when queueing with randos.
I offered you a solution on how to avoid the problem entirely, by explaining how the weakaura tracked island contribution, and what you could do to help your team more given super lowbie ilvl.

Yes but as it has been said a hundred times, Blizzard allow you to go in and do whatever, as long as you are doing something. If anyone thinks they are above Blizzards rules that we all agree to and have to follow you need to think about that.
We donât make the rules, we just have to accept them and follow them and as I have said multiple times, when I go on my geared characters I have to deal with it, you have to deal with it, everyone has to deal with it, there is going to be someone who does not want to do the meat grinder regardless if it is saving 3-4 minutes per run or not.
Some days I just want to go and take 1-2 packs at a time even on my main, itâs much less stressful. If someone wants the run over in less than 3 minutes, go premake a 3 man group, no one is breaking Blizzards rules unless they are purposely doing nothing.
Blizzard also allows ppl to kick for whatever reason.
Correct. Accept the fact that you can get kicked if u choose to go the âstress freeâ route and not click on chests in an island.

Thereâs no way you can tell from looking at the screenshot that this was done by an actual addon. Anyone with a little bit of knowledge can make chat macros that spit out the same stuff. Yes, there are APIâs that can automate STARTING a vote kick, but there is no addon that can reach out to another player and make him/her click that confirmation button.
More than likely you got trolled by 2 dudes that joined as a group and planned ahead of time to vote kick the 3rd player at the last minute.
I personally looked to see if there were any Island Expedition addons that include kicking functions and found nothing. I would advice other people to do their own research and not âI read it on the internet so it must be trueâ.
