Vote kick being used by addons - Noob Blocker 2.0

EIT4: Because I am slow some days, I just realised that even though I was kicked, you still walk away with all the AZ that was gained during the run, whether it be you leave early or join late, you do not have to be there for the entire amount to contribute to both your HoA level and the weekly amount needed for the quest.

That makes it just plain stupid, you need 3 minutes into any random queue before being able to kick someone, I had still gained 6K AZ in that time before I was kicked.

EDIT 3: Thank you to some people here for supporting the idea that the addon is bad and thank you for not being that guy.

This is not about being kicked from an IE, it is about using an addon that automates an in game function, going against the ToS in multiple ways. But on a personal note, having to than wait 30 minutes to rejoin just because I could not keep up with a mythic raid geared player is just bad.

But there are too many here who are just yelling “You are bad and you should feel bad” who don’t quite understand, joining a random group that Blizzard allowed to take place and than kicking them for not meeting your standards, it’s not entirely about me or anyone ‘under performing’, maybe those players should not be joining a random group if they expect something much higher than is possible.

And with that, I am going to put this post on mute.

That guy is 439 iLVL, joining a random heroic that can consist of new 120 players, and he is using an addon that auto detects and auto vote kicks based on how much AZ you have collected.

I think this has gone a little too far with what addons can and cannot do. Sorry that I am not high iLVL and need to start farming on a new level 120 character.

Yes, I am a little bit angry and rightfully so, halfway through killing enemies I get kicked out because some higher geared player thinks they are gods gift. Now need to wait 30 minutes to get my last IE done for the weekly.

EDIT: Someone did make note that this addon is just another Noob Blocker addon that needs to be stopped. And I think so too, part of the ToS is to not intentionally stop someone from having fun right? Well using this is purposely ensuring that if someone does not meet your expectations they are removed, and that stops the other person from having fun.

EDIT 2: Just for clarification I was on my hunter, a 3 day old 120 character.

Doesn’t help in IE when all you need is one random person to click yes without even looking at what is happening, or in this case someone from the same server.

Well they can initialize a VK, but it can’t pass unless the group says yes.

Ignore jerks like that and that add on should be broken. If you are 440 and queing into heroic islands giving people crap about gear neck, you are a sad small person.

islands are 3 mans. all you need is the other person to say yes and you kick the dude

I initially followed them, but as I was attacking they ran off and dragged a lot of enemies with them. It took a whole 3 minutes from the start of the island to when I was kicked.

I do the same thing on my rogue, run off and drag half the island with me, but I don’t expect players to follow if they are simply going to die, and in this case I would have probably died and been kicked anyway.

Yeh and how many times do randoms just click yes? Or in this case, someone from the same server and most likely guild or friend who pre-plan to do this.

Because they are mass pulling, they eventually stop to slaughter their huge death ball, its best to follow them until they do. So much quicker with all 3 people helping to aoe everything down.

No, it was just “You are not pulling your weight, GTFO”. Players like that don’t care if you are new or have a high iLVL, not especially if they are using addons that check for one thing and decide to kick someone out.

Also so much quicker for low geared players to die, I see it happen when I do the same on my rogue and have had it happen already on my hunter, someone pulls big, I cannot get my pets to aggro everything and I inevitably die.

If the person who is pulling big is doing more damage than you, you won’t pull threat off them.

OK this is retarded. I don’t care which way you slice it. Its one thing to kick for behavior, its another to use an automated addon to boot lowbies that do literally nothing detrimental to your crappy IE run.

Blizz, time to bring down the ban hammer on this addon ASAP.
