this guy requires you to throw chum into the water to spawn eels and then so on until the rare spawns. problem is, chum will not drop. from anywhere. I’ve killed every single suggestion on wowhead multiple times over the last couple of weeks - not a single drop! I know it’s unique, I’ve checked my bags and bank; nothing there. I don’t know if it’s because I am 20 levels above but yeah something has happened to the drop rate because it’s not dropping at all.
Did you end up getting it? Or did you give up? I’m a couple of hours into farming for Chum to no avail. I have had the mining item and herbing item drop though, so I’m not sure if it’s bugged or our luck is incredibly bad?
I gave up.
This thread is old, but I want to note that I am also not acquiring any chum, from any of the sources listed on Wowhead or elsewhere. When BfA was current, I remember getting some every time I quested in Nazjatar.
I’ve been getting into pet battling lately and wanted to get the Skittering Eel pet, so I’ve been going back to Nazjatar, but chum is not dropping.
