That’s just a rumour.
Capibarra have an effect on other living creatures. Whenever another species comes into a capibarras aoe, they become relaxed and passive and start thinking of fluffy, sweet things which leads to pondering life’s big question;
“Why are we here and who are we having for dinner”.
I even bought him a gold capybara pet for his WoW toon
