Volley is currently bugged and doesn’t receive the AP bonus provided when hitting a target with hunter’s mark. Hunter’s mark explicitly states it increases the ranged attack power of all attackers against that target. Since Volley scales off of ranged attack power and is a RANGED attack, this should work. But it’s bugged and doesn’t.
PLEASE FIX ASAP.

I mean you would mark one target in a pack of 5-10 mobs, and do like 1% more dmg to that individual target that has mark on it…
Is this really a huge concern?
It’s very important for PvP that it gets this bonus. It doesn’t matter what it is used for really, it’s just a bug and needs to be fixed. It’s the equivalent of Winters chill not increasing mages blizzard damage/crit

500 RaP isnt small.
Yes as gear gets better its less impactful, but a bug is a bug.
Volley has AP scaling, so the 500AP bonus of hubters mark should still apply.

Yeah. It has Ranged AP scaling and also requires a ranged weapon to use. It’s the de-facto definition of being a ranged attack. Arcane shot is the same thing, it scales with hunters mark. Just the calculation of volley isn’t taking in account hunters mark - it should.

Can tou explain how this factors into pvp? Because I genuinely dont get what you mean
Because people will line of site hunters and the damage increase from hunters mark on the target while you volley them from behind LoS is noticeable.
