Since the 11.1.5 update today 4/22/25 the disc priest hero talent voidwraith is not replacing mindbender. It will replace shadowfiend of you do not have the mindbender talent but it will not replace the mindbender button. However, when you use the ability it does summon voidwraith. This breaks all forms of tracking the ability due to the spell ID issues it causes.
EDIT: So if you scroll over the talent for mindbender in the disc tree it says “Replaces Voidwraith” on the talent. If you do not have voidwraith hero talent it says “Replaces Shadowfiend”. I think the mindbender talent is using an uno reverse on the voidwraith talent instead of voidwraith overriding mindbender.

I have also noticed this issue healing a dungeon for the first time today.
Hopefully, Blizz hotfixes this quickly! Inability to track is causing a lot of issues with addons and weakauras.

Still broken today. Have noticed as well you only get 12 seconds as said with mender. Wraith is supposed to be 15. So losing 3 seconds currently as well

I guess voidweaver disc priest just gets to stay broken. A quick “we know and we are looking into it” would go a long way.

Nice to see this hero talent is still broken. I’d hate it if it got fixed.
Don’t worry, they will get to it now that they have corrected the spell visuals on a Hearthstone and fixed the drop rate of a legacy raid’s gear tokens.
But for real. It’s been 2 weeks and nothing? I guess it just gets to stay shadow nurfed and broken. Who actually wants a talent to actually work? I mean I love the fact it only last 12 seconds instead of 15 now. Maybe nobody understands sarcasm anymore? I don’t actually like the fact it’s still broke. Please fix.

What’s even broken except for the tooltip? It still summons the voidwraith and still lasts 15 seconds regardless of the tooltip displaying mindbender’s 12. Shadow covenant only lasts 12 seconds, but I don’t know if that was intentional with the other changes to voidwraith that came with 11.0.
Okay just ran it again. It is the shadow covenant that only last 12 seconds instead of the 15. The pet did last for the 15. It still needs to be fixed though.
