Light spoilers for the max level campaign!
The quest phasing in the Voidstorm zone seems to be mixed up, particularly in regards to the max level War of Light and Shadow campaign. This mostly centers around how the Voidspire appears in the zone. I’ve observed 3 distinct phases.
- Phase A - The Voidspire has orbs and effects visible around the tower.
- Phase B - The Voidspire has orbs, effects, and a big void beam heading downward in the center.
- Phase C - The Voidspire is completely dormant. No orbs, no effects, no beam.
Prior to completing the Voidspire raid, we see Phase A, which makes sense.
After defeating the Voidspire raid, we see Phase C.
After defeating the March on Quel’Danas raid, we see Phase B.
It seems that Phases B and C are switched. It would make a lot more sense for there to be a giant void beam in the spire after the end of the Voidspire raid. It also would make more sense for the spire to be completely dormant after the end of the March on Quel’Danas raid.
