Well, they already hinted that other elves would seek them out and wish to join them. High elves would be mostly content to remain free of magical corruption whereas blood elves will probably jump at the chance and will be downing the void like a Slurpee.

Interesting thing is, those Blood Elves in the Telogrus Rift aren’t likely to be able to return to Quel’Thalas. If they do, they’ll have to keep their practices secret from the ruling regime or face banishment.

I think it would provide a way out for those who are unhappy with the Horde. Having secret void elf infiltrators could also spur the story along.

High Elves don’t mention anything about Quel’Thalas in general. They just want the Blood Elves to stay away from them, because they don’t trust them and disagree with them. The Silver Covenant takes this to the extreme of violence.

So violent that they didn’t join the Alliance during the most recent war? For all we know that after legion the Silver Covenant could be neutral this change will bring them back to the fold

I don’t think you understand High Elves very well.

The silver covenant doesn’t represent all High Elves

Stranger things have happened in MMOs. If it functions mechanically the same, doesn’t lose any class options, and allowed for people to still look like a Void Elf, then it’s not outright impossible. Unlikely, certainly. I don’t think it’ll ever happen. Just as I don’t think the Silver Covenant would become Void Elves.

It’s generally easier to do, and wouldn’t step on the toes of any core races.

If I would tell you that some blood elves would join the Alliance, or that the void can be controlled, or there were a faction of blood elves practicing the void that were kicked out of silvermoon prior to BC, you would have not believed me either but my point is anything can happen in the story.

Not just the High Elven fans but Void Elf fans as it would make no sense in lore.

Most of my likes are from void elven characters so maybe, just maybe that opinion isn’t universal I also said High Elves would still exist within the silver covenant after just void elves would make up the bulk of them.

Paladin

Since I doubt they would go through the trouble of giving Void Elf Paladins “void” effect colors instead of Light effects, they could just make it so you couldn’t select the “void” options in the character appearance if you chose a Paladin.

I doubt Blizzard would do either option, but it would be nice to have an elf Paladin on the Alliance. I was so hoping for at least Night Elves…
