As far as I know I don’t remember having void storage. I don’t know what they were for and when I checked out the new bank today I had two tabs labeled void storage as default. Maybe I missed reading something but can those be treated like any other bank tab and renamed as something else to store reagents or is there something special to them?

Void storage is another bank from long ago. Originally meant to keep transmog gear in before you could “ learn” transmog appearance. They were located in town by the transmogrifier. Largely unused by anyone recently

You can rename all of them and move them around 
they essentially just wanted to tag them to show you that they added in that storage space. But I’ve already repurposed mine for legendary items and renamed the tab legendary

Yes, you can rename the tabs. They were given Void Storage as a default name so that if you had items in that tab from the bank conversion, you knew where they came from.
