TL;DR This spell needs a visual queue to show that it’s active. Having one little flash of a void shield appear upon casting isn’t enough. It’s very easy to assume your shield is gone because there’s nothing in game to show it’s active and override it with a regular PWS and lose the benefits of void shield.
Idk why, but I was expecting it to look like the void glass shield from manaforge
It’s kind of lame if I’m being honest.
And why is it so invisible? You get one little purple shield flash and then nothing. It has no animation while active, not even a purple tinted power word: shield…
I was expecting more from an apex talent
The mechanic itself is very cool and I like it, I just wish it was more flashy. Especially since this is THE Void expansion

I agree im not the Biggest fan of the current Void shield animation, Especially with it not persisting just because Visually when it vanishes i begin to think that it’s Been used up so i end up overwriting it with a base pwr shield which is horrible

I’d be curious to know what the void glass shield from Manaforge looks like if you have a link OP! I’m not familiar with it.
Also does anyone else feel like priests get the short straw from a class visuals perspective when compared to other casters? I swear the PW:S visual is from 2004.
It’s a crime that shadow priest didn’t get voided shield first. Such a missed opportunity.

I thought the same thing! The fact that shadow priests CAN’T cast void shield is so strange.
That, and levitate still making a sparkly cloud under our feet…

This is my problem. I can’t see it so I assume it’s gone.
It needs some kind of visual queue. Shields are disc priests entire theme, why wouldn’t it be a visible shield?
It is from 2004. I’m pretty sure it’s the oldest animation in the game
They literally could have just switched spell IDs with one of those twilight cult people.
