I feel like there should be an option to trade your Void Pearl in for a different one since its unique. The vendor in Booty Bay allows you to purchase them for 75g but the problem is you’re only allowed 1 type of Pearl in your inventory at any given time. I feel like this was overlooked by the team.

No, it is not a unique equip, its a unique type trinket which means you can only have 1 in your inventory
Thats lame, If you could keep it in ur bank and only have one your inventory would atleast feel not so bad.

The spell damage one works for healing. Is 9 more healing power really worth 75g?
And all the ferals that want to switch it up or heal in dungeons?
Druids are literally what the 75g option was put in for. The trinket is not required. Simply don’t equip it.

I agree, we are being essentially forced to play one spec. Not only is it 75g to play another spec at its fullest potential but you must fully commit to that spec now by TRASHING your old pearl. So if I want to respec to shadow I guess I am never healing again because what would be the point if I lost my BIS healing trinket. (There are no other good alt trinkets btw) It doesn’t give you much motivation to switch around and try new things when you are being PUNISHED for doing so.
Most people can’t even afford their mount or their reagents for their crafting quest but sure let’s HARD LOCK people into one spec and also have them pay probably their entirety of gold. Not a great choice at all IMO, next time you’re looking for a priest for gnomeregan 50% of the available players are probably cut out because they decided to have some fun and try their other spec and are now stuck doing so. Got people moving BACKWARDS

Yeah but if I don’t have the 11 sp the raid is literally impossible. People definitely don’t do it on freshly dinged capped toons with whatever they got through leveling. Definitely not.

20sp for healing, which yeah is allot. Unless you can find another trinket that is comparable? I see no reason I should move backwards for something I earned in the first place. All in all I did the raid and quest for my pearl. Now longing for some versatility in my class I would like to exchange MY pearl (that I have earned btw) for a pearl of different power. I don’t see how that’s an issue. So I am taking my pearl that again (I worked for) throwing it on the ground never to be used again and then paying 75g which arguably takes much longer to get than to finish the BFD raid and quest and if I ever want to continue healing I would not be as efficient which is disappointing and again demotivating. Of course it’s possible, But now I must go grab probably one or two pieces of gear to make up for that pearl (that I worked for) that I would not have.
It’s actually pretty silly.
Please, you know you’re not changing your talent trees ever. Don’t act like you ever change spec on purpose.
I love healing but i’m not gonna do it continuously forever. If your raiding as healer you def gotta respect talent tree nobody is gonna take you into a raid as a healer with shadow form. However STV shadow priest is actually fun… There’s just no room for a priest that wants to be holy and shadow BIS.
Is it silly? Yes. Should there be an easier way to change trinkets? Probably. Is it as big a deal as you’re making it out to be? Lolno. If a single trinket is make or break for your ability to play a spec then you have bigger issues to worry about than the trinket

I took the damage/healing one last phase while I was healing hoping shadow would be worthwhile in phase 2. I get wanting to mix-max but if losing 9 +healing is devastating to you then I think you have bigger problems.

If it’s not that big a deal then just trash your best BIS item on your character. You’ll still be able to play the class and cast spells so I don’t see why not?
Not gonna do that though are you? Since it would be pointless exactly like this pearl situation.
My whole argument is that it isn’t a huge gamebreaking deal over 9sp but that it is pointless to not allow multiple pearls for different specs. (especially paying 75g) If you can’t agree that it’s a disadvantage to play without the pearl (which math won’t agree with you but whatever) then you’d have to be brain dead. All im saying is that it should be possible for easier spec switching but either way.
GL finding heals for gnomer, been having fun watching multiple GUILDS in my LFG chat look for one for the past HOUR. Not to mention the MULTIPLE reddit posts stating that finding healers is a problem… Wonder why.
i feel like the whole 75g thing was overlooked by the team as well
