Void Ogres

What’s with them?

Allied Race?

Seems like Ogre shadow priests to me. This confirms playable Ogres would be able to be priests. I don’t think anyone doubted that though.

Ahh yes, I can already hear the complaints about xmog on Ogres.
And body sliders.

I wonder what Xal Ascending them would look like?

Xal’atath got tired of her Elven body so she got an upgrade and went Ogre!!!

Alliance should get ogres because orcs and ogres have fought since forever. They were only allied out of convenience in Warcraft 2.

Horde should get void ogres as compensation.

Then for the next 20 years, Alliance players should troll Horde whenever they ask for void ogres customizations, because ogres are an Alliance race. :smirk:

there is no reason for ogres to ever become a playable race

There absolutely is. A lot of us Hordies have wanted to play them.

That would be hilarious lol

god I hope not.

That as an allied race is the shark. Not that Blizz can’t and wouldn’t survive it. I felt a small piece of me die when I thought about it becoming a thing.

or just make Ogres and two headed Ogres as neutral playable race.

Let’s be honest. A lot of Alliance would be upset that they got Ogres instead of another elf recolor.

There was no reason for us to get 3rd and 4th elves, 2nd draenei, 2nd and 3rd dwarves, etc. Ogres already have a step up on all those because they’d be unique by contrast.

What class was Cho’Gall technically, he commanded void powers

It’s a bit complicated because he is a VERY OLD character, much older than WoW. So he is older than the rigid concept of Classes that we have in WoW.

So Cho’gall has been called a Mage, a Necromancer, a Necrolyte, etc.

But for the most part, Cho’gall was a Warlock. He has been called a Warlock multiple times. He uses Fire and Shadow spells. In “Heroes of the Storm” he uses Warlock spells such as Shadowflame, Shadow Bolt and Eye of Kilrogg. And in Hearthstone he is a Warlock card.

But though he is mostly Warlockish, his whole deal of “worshiping the Old Gods and following a prophecy” are rather Priestly. However, there is no instance of anyone ever referring to Cho’gall as a Priest.

Wasn’t this confirmed in Cataclysm?

I think Ogres should be added as Warlock pets and that’s it

Damn, that’s brutal. Did you forget the achievements and splendor of the glorious Gorian Empire?
