Void melee class?

I’m one for always asking for the tinker class. a 2nd ranged weapon class, but I am kinda shocked we don’t have a void melee class too. At minimum a quest like the warlocks to get void colors for pally yeah know?

i hope void knight is a option but i also hope they arnt crazy mobile.

Subtlety Rogue uses a lot of shadow damage abilities.

Pretty much, i think there was even some lore mention of this, about them using some of the Void for said abilities.

Paladins could be provided with a unique quest to pull power from the void instead of the light. Like the warlock green flame quest.

I think a lot of classes that people are craving could be satisfied by adding a fourth spec to some existing classes. I was really surprised TWW didn’t introduce some in the form of support classes.

It makes me wonder about the future of Augmentation. Is it still in the test phase to see if support has a future or will it just convert to a regular dps at some point, or maybe not change at all.

A full on void paladin/knight is probably my most wanted class. Something based on the Ethereals could work as well.

nothing worse than having a nice purple / void looking mogs and then popping wings and it being all gold and bright lol

Void Hunter. Mail wearer, weapons of choice: Whips, chains, tentacles, gaseous artifacts. Races: Any

Personally, I think that:

  • Void Elves should get void visuals for their ‘holy’ spells.
  • And that Lightforged Draenei should get holy visuals for their ‘shadow’ spells.

That way you can help further justify Void Elf Paladins, Lightforged Warlocks and their respective priest specs that go against their respective alignment.

:person_shrugging: Honestly it would be more honourable to the lore too.

They could do the same with

  • Mag’har orcs given their … Not-so-friendly nature with the light, thus going void.
  • Along with Blood Elves if they’re going to stick with the ordeal: “Those who treat with the void are no longer our kin and any who do are exiled!” route. Thus leaning to the light.

As a faction-equality move of sorts too.
