Eons away considering the current state of the game. I’d prefer them to fix their house and their existent classes first.

Like, the Rift soul? I really enjoyed it. Lots of teleporting around (and teleporting mobs) as a warrior. Good times.

Would they have an order like the blood knights? I imagine it would be different due to the nature of the void. Also, if paladins are really restricted and players just wanted to get this idea rolling, maybe class isn’t that big of a deal and instead it could be more about being a knight.
Cooler than Paladins/Death Knights imo.
They just need to create a system for race specific spell skins. Right now Lightforged Draenei can be Shadow Priests and it makes absolutely no sense. If LFD got a spell skin that allowed their shadow and void spells to be light themed, I’d think it’d be cool if Void elves got paladins and got spell skins that turned their holy magic void themed.

Actually. Nevermind. I guess a lot of helms restrict vision. That one just looks more obvious.
Pest Control wasn’t my favorite minigame but I hear the void knight set is pretty good for training slayer.
A good thing would be Paladins being available for Void Elves and Undead.
The Significant downside however would be the possibility of Death Knights going extinct; due to so many of them jumping to play Void Knights.
Perhaps I think Blood Death Knights may go extinct instead; due to that especially gotten themselves in the same situation where Rogues were during early Legion Beta when Demon Hunters were introduced.
I like the idea of void knights. I am going to explore the concept, even without the paladin class.

I started a guild for this. So far all I know is… only void elves can join.

Perhaps, though I doubt it would be based on race. An order like the Blood Knights aren’t completely separate from normal paladins, it’s just that they utilized the Light in a way other races didn’t. A human paladin and a belf paladin could do the same things but for different reasons. It’s similar to nelf priests being Priestesses of Elune.
Void Knights (or shadow paladins 
) would be more akin to a separate thing altogether. Fallen paladins that forsook the Light and chose the Void instead. Their organization would be similar to the Ebon Blade or Illidari; numerous races or factions all operating under the guidance or code of their leader(s).
At least, that’s the fancy shmancy lore side. For in game mechanics it could either be a whole new class or just a recolor mechanic for paladins, like warlock’s Green Fire.

Make it part of Paladin’s Spec and I’ll be happy, certainly can reflect Priest’s choice for having Shadow Priest.
