hey guys, so i’m sure this isn’t the best place to post this, but i’m super stuck. my main goal since coming back after 3 years is to unlock the void elves, the first 2 argus parts are done, i’m on the first quest in the 3rd and last part of argus “where they least expect it”
where i have to go in the portal way on top of the map, kill a bunch of harder than average enemies, break the orbs after and make my way back through those same enemies again to fight a type of boss… its absolutely impossible.
playing 48 mm hunter, tried bm also made zero difference, i’m in chromie time i believe. am i missing something? or can anyone jump on and help?
also playing alliance on bleeding hollow right now, just to unlock this.
I’m aware, same as the horde equivalent to night elves lol, I still want to unlock them. It’s absolutely impossible to solo this quest in my current state and I’m in chromie time, if I get out and get a few more levels, I come back in real time, will I still be at the same point?
If you have any friends with level 60 characters, just one of them should be able to solo the entire thing and you could just tag along for the ride. That said, if that’s not an option, you can always come back at 60 and solo it yourself with ease.
Not really how that works. Chromie Time “phases” you into a different phase where mobs scale up to level 50. If you group with a max level, he will not be phased with you since he can’t enter Chromie and you will not see each other outside of BfA. You can “Party Sync” and he will be scaled down and phased into Chromie with you, but that may make the quests all funky. Also the higher level is nerfed to almost garbage because Sync is actually garbage.
Best bet if you want a carry through, is to actually remove Chromie Time so the max level isn’t scaled and in the same phase as you.
The sync isn’t garbage. We use it all the time for PvP and to help people farm rares for both exp and mounts. The scaling is so in favor of people syncing over people in leveling gear they complain about it constantly.
I’ve been doing stuff in Chromie time since it launched and never had an issue. And I’m doing stuff with it at least once or twice a week.
Pretty sure if we can accidentally kill TLPD in 3 hits we can kill whatever OP’s struggling with.
Thanks guys, my hunter is 50 now, got out of chromie time and still have same quest for that stupid portal. I wanted to go to 60 and try but shadowlands isn’t working for me (activated it on wrong account, put it ticket to do it on this one but nothing yet been 6 days)
They really do not. There have been threads on this with customization counts. Belves do inch them out on customization still. It’s just Belves aren’t near top of the list either. Orcs, Nelves and Humans are way up there.
On the point of group finder, I really wish Blizz would do something about it not being available until what is it, 50. When doing Chromie time on an alt, you get to things like Amphitheater of Blood or any thing like that, you are usually SoL. The max level players are scaled down to 50 and the mobs scale to 50. So really better hope you have 4 friends on, or hope there are 4 other players that are in the same area, at the same time.
I know I unlocked them and yeah I like the them, but even the dance is the same dance as blood elves sadly lol , looking forward to the long road to unlock kul tiran next
