Also more noteworthy evidence that Void Elves are growing in number, like blizzard has stated, and that new players are part of the new group:
Monk
- Blood Elves were trained to become monks during MoP when a Pandaren came to Eversong Woods and began teaching them.
- The original Void Elves were a group exiled long before then, thus none being monks
- Therefore, the only way playable Void Elf Monks would be possible would be if they newly joined.
Just thought Iād mention it since I donāt think Iāve seen anyone bring it up during my relatively short time in these threads.

Questionable.
The original void elves were banished because Rommath believed them to be a danger to the Sunwell. Concerns for the Sunwell would be null had it been long before Vanilla, unless it was pre-scourge invasion, at which point Lorāthemar WAS NOT the regent lord, and nor were Rommath grand magister and thus neither had any authority to exile the Void Elves.
The Void Elves must have been banished somewhere in between the Burning Crusade and BFA.
There is the possibility that blizzard have just made a huge mess of their own timeline.
Anywho, according to an interview, I think it was. The Void Elves are trying to figure out how to replicate the incidient that created them, it is hinted that Blood Elves and High Elves are coming to the rift to learn about the void, appearantly use it too. But it is questionable whether those would be full on void elves or not, seeing as Alleria was able to create rifts with only a minor injection of void, but only after she swallowed a dark naaru did she manifest her void form.
It seems to require a little more to be getting the void form.
I do not think there is any particular lore reason as to why Void Elves can be monks. It was probably just added to them, like it was added to most other races.
Now monk just need to be added to worgen and goblins.

Blood elves became āhigh elvesā when they introduced a muscular night elf model.
Night elves were always the high elves. They changed that when they discovered how popular blood elves were.
Safer to say that High Elves in World of Warcraft had a standby model. Looking at High Elves and Night Elves in the WC RTS games, there is a clear distinction between the two.

High Elves and Blood Elves are supposed to look exactly identical, this much was established back in The Burning Crusade - Taela Everstride at Allerian Stronghold even says: āNo, donāt feel bad. I get that a lotā¦ Iām a high elf, not a blood elf. Donāt worry, I wonāt suck the magic out of you.ā

Before Paris Hilton introduced a monetary amount undeniable to Blizzard, high elves were not even on their radar.
And I thank her for it. Because not all of us all super tall, not super built in terms of body. She created a petite build we could identify with.
Just stop being who you are and delve into what the game actually is. Its completely okay that things went this way.

Itās not that Iām against VElves having more natural hair colors but I want different appearance options so I wonāt have to look like an alliance race.

But you guys who do nothing but spam these threads all day sure are upset High Elf is a sub race of Void Elf now.

There doesnāt seem to be an obvious timeline for when they were exiled.
The closest we can get is somewhere after The Burning Crusadeās epilogue and Legion.
There is no source for the original Void Elf crew being exiled before vanilla, that would make no sense considering Rommathās comments on the matter.

Actually this is an odd statement to make.
HEs arenāt tied to VEs save for maybe becoming VEs themselves.
Why would anyone against HE options be mad visual distinction was left in place?
The fact you arenāt HEs and donāt have the hair options would be an indicator of being upset considering
