Void elf warlock

I’m very excited and happy to finally play a warlock on my void elf but I have a big question. I always go to destruction spec because I know how it works but I want to try something different and fun. What of the two specs for warlock are fun and look awesome?

You have afflic, which is one of the few remaining DoT specs in the game, with it you have more a timing baised gameplay.

And you have Demo, which you can command big bad demons to do the fighting for you and pretend your a demon lord yourself.

I’d recommend Demo over Aff right now.

I have a soft spot for Aff, but I love AOE pressure specs.
Demo has been bad for a long time, but it is finally in a really good spot. You should try it “while you can”.

Ok so affliction does dots and demonology does pets.

I main a void elf warlock (demonology)
Its great fun and pretty epic running around with an army of demons

I will give them a try but I still might stay with destruction because I like the animation of him casting it. Plus I love my inferno. But I promise to try it.

Visually Demo is one of the most interesting specs in game. If looks are what you’re after it wins out of the three specs and probably any spec from any class really.

Demo also has a shorter burst window, at 1 minute (I think) where Destro is pretty RNG based and the burst window is 3 minutes, which gives you a lot of downtime and doesn’t feel great at all. Aff, aff is a nightmare, don’t play aff.

Warlocks are not supposed to apologize to get in. You had to talk back. If you can’t even do that, how will you be able to get into the Shadow Priests?

Grab Murugan by the horns and tell him you are here and he will either like it or get over it!

But being honest is it ok for void elf’s to do destruction? I know they use void and shadow but I don’t see them using fel magic.

I’ve been tempted to use this spec but I’ve never used it before. Is affliction good for someone who loves dps?
