The relevance or association of the flags confuse me….

But yeah they clearly are trying to open up races to classes. Lore isn’t as much an issue.

I put in my flags for visibility.

I hope they add a bit of nuance where every time a Void Elf Pally uses a holy spell they explode.

Blizzard hasnt had race specific class spells for a very very long time, so i dont think your wish will occur champ :smile:

Yes there is a problem with people who skip story and then ask for things that don’t make sense in regards to it and then pearl clutch when people have issue with it.

Ultimately though, it doesn’t matter what you believe :slight_smile: just remember that line of thinking comes back around.

I am going to keep referencing that part of a Thousand year war as proof that light and void can mix and is actually where one can find the “truth”. You know an important aspect of Paladins.

That one should probably master both sides of the equations.

When the elf posters get their precious paladins, will they go back to asking for other high elf things? I’m guessing yes, because paladins check off another box on the high elf power fantasy wishlist:

  • :white_check_mark: Natural skin
  • :white_check_mark: Blonde, tentacle-free hair
  • :white_check_mark: Blue eyes
  • :white_check_mark: Paladins
  • :x: “High Elf” on nameplate instead of “Void Elf” toggle
  • :x: Entropic Embrace visual toggle/Entropic Embrace and Spatial Rift arcane visual option
  • :x: Alternate high elf-style heritage armor
  • :x: HD Quel’dorei Steed and Silver Covenant Hippogryph
  • :x: Access to Silvermoon/Silvermoon becomes an Alliance capital/Alliance allowed to establish a town in the Ghostlands

While the Alliance will be inundated with new paladins, it will really be a net positive for Horde players because at least half of them will be HINO blood elf paladins race changing en masse, and we’ll also probably see a surge of complaints about void elves getting regular paladins instead of Void-powered ones, but at least I’ll have my gnome or mechagnome paladin by then.
