So we got people trying to use killable NPCs (with no actual lore behind them, prove me wrong?) and some kid that keeps bringing up other class combos trying to make a âvoid elf paladinâ make sense. There is literally nothing to make sense of⌠theyâre literally covered in void energy. Light and Void are polar opposites.
How many times do I have to tell you that Iâm proposing for a class skin system so void elf paladin would only be paladin in name but use void spell effects?
So youâre just a time wasting contrarian? I already knew that, and I will keep requesting this topic as holinka mentioning that âother classes such as paladin will require more workâ has me hopeful.
Keep crying over this thread existing then. Muted!
again that killable npc have more weight than you, it exists in game, somebody working for blizzard took the time to creat them and supervisors didnât object it, that sole thing prove you wrong
Lol. Holy crap⌠heâs so in his feelings over no being agreed with. Relax dude, no reason to be this angry. I just donât think void elf paladin makes sense in any way.
So you put me on ignore, but keep opening up my comments⌠throwing a fit and removing anything I said, just quoting me. Iâll keep commenting because this is really funny. 14 to go I guess?
Iâll be back in 2-3 hrs. My bf and I are going gym! As your new boss apparently, youâre ordered to complete another 8 posts MINIMUM before I get back. That will leave you on 6 left for today.
This is the first time you have told me. Also making a class skin that makes a holy paladin a void paladin is just silly defeats the whole purpose of the class and ruins in game lore when you are still considered a paladin during class quests. I would take a void knight over a class skin any day.
They became allies to the kingdom of arathor and allied with the Alliance of Lordaeron.
Then the Thalassian elves, as a nation, withdrew from the Alliance of Lordaeron after Warcraft 2.
The Thalassian nation of Quelâthalas never rejoined the Alliance.
An insignificant amount were off being human waifus. An insignificant number were exiled for being gigahipsters and sowing political unrest.
These people, being awful, changes their name back to Quelâdorei, insulting, disrespecting, mocking, and spurning the 80-90% of the population that was murdered.
This doesnât provide that Quelâdorei, who didnât even know what a paladin was until the events of Warcraft two, had some super sekret paladin organization or that it was culturally a thing before Liadrin started the Blood Knights.
How does this prove that there is a skret order of
Quelâdorei paladins or void infused light infused paladins who somehow donât explode despite the fact that your beloved alleria and her husband canât touch when sheâs void infused due to volatile reactions?
Please cite actual lore about these super sekret organizations.
Who is in charge of these sekret orders of Quelâdorei and Renâdorei Paladins?
When were they founded?
What is their structure like?
What tenents of the light do they follow?
I want actual citations. Give me sources in books. In quests. On wiki pages that contain citations that arenât just caused by no one double checking NPCs for lore compatibility before things are pushed onto live.
Might I also add Magâhar and Worgen for consideration to your Void Knight list?
Not really.
Only Riftblades we see in action are the Island Expedition one who appears to just use warrior skills (Though one attack or two shows some arcane?) and the ones in the Visions. Which by the nature of it we canât effectively say much. It was a vision and not real.
That said its a neat aesthetic for Void warriors to have void stuff on their weapons.
I donât mind the Void Paladin concept as long as its applied to more than one race (Velves, Forsaken, Magâhar and Worgen). Though Iâd also enjoy just having a skin for warrior or Death Knight.
But no, there is no significant indication that the Riftblades are paladin-like at this time.
Go on.
Me too.
Thats honestly how I read it.
Mage Priest and Rogue are easy to give to all races. (Not sure why monk is so hard I would have included that one too myself.)
Things like Warlock, Shaman, Druid, Paladin and Demon Hunter would take some additional lore in many cases because of how theyâve worked themselves into rigid concepts.
Regardless of the race involved I would prefer there to be lore to account for the new classes so I appreciate this.
Almost all of my void elves stories include some of what they were doing, at least from the second war onward.
Boggles my mind when folk do not want to take that story in.
What we are now is undoubtably cool and neat and new, and it still needs its own lore and explanations and I feel our story beats going forward need to focus on that.
But we canât forget where we come from either. Its a part of the story.
And as you say it makes our backgrounds entirely flexible which I love. I have void elves who were blood elves and void elves who were high elves prior to becoming full void elves.
Forsaken paladins could be a thing using the Light however, I love the idea of having the Church of Forgotten Shadow gain Void Knights to give Forsaken Paladins.
All of these are wonderful questions.
I want them to add in an NPC event showing Wayfarers and Scholars going through a ritual to become full void elves. Have em come out with both Allerian and Umbrician type void elves so that our options are canon to void elves.
I like the idea that the priests of the void elves keep tabs on the general sanity of the other void elves and bolster their defenses periodically if needed, as well as hunt down errant void elves who may have lost themselves to the whispers.
Bringing them back if they can to help them readjust. Or notâŚ
