Thereās examples of High elf npcs with Blood elf voice lines and Blood elves with High elf voice lines. That argument doesnāt even begin to hold weight. It does not say whether or not they identify as Blood elf or High elf.
Astromancer Darnarian, who has been a blue eyed High elf since the Burning Crusade has Blood elf voice lines as well. And we know he wasnāt a Blood elf because at that point all Blood elves had green eyes.
No, it isnāt. Theyāre two characters with heavy lore ties to Sylvanas, the main protagonist of the expansion, not as some gesture of support for Alliance High elves. So supportive they forgot to add a single Silver Covenant High elf in the entire event. What a laughable take.
Both sides are also equally represented in game during the event, working together and aiding one another to successfully invade Orgimmar. We see Shandris and the sentinels working together with the Farstriders, and the Alliance soldiers marching alongside the Horde soldiers. All of the Sylvanasā loyalists were thrown in prison, or outcast. so clearly thatās not the case.
Vereesa came to aid Halduronās call for aid, itās the only time we ever see the Silver Covenant working independently from Dalaran, so it shows they can act if motivated to do so, and yet largely refrain from joining the Alliance in almost every war effort against the Horde.
Thereās also no examples of any void elves calling themselves High elves either, the race youāre playing is a band of void Blood elves, radically and physically altered by the void. There being a group of alliance High elf NPCs youāll never get to play as doesnāt change any of that.
There doesnāt need to be a faction of them for there to be a precedent for them. Weāve seen them scattered on the Horde side throughout the expansions, and up until that point they have been used exclusively to differentiate High elves from Blood elves. They even doubled down on this difference in Lorāthemarās story Shadow of the Sun.

That poster isnāt Lore. They havenāt switched their alts around to this degree before. And I dont see anything in the post history to suggest it was an attempt to mess with anyone.
If it is an attempt to copy another poster it hasnāt been used at all for it.

the funny thing to me about this weird random melt-down is that i came up with the name while sitting at a character screen after one of my old PvP partners told me to boost a WW monk during Legion without even thinking about the meaning
it was just a pretty āelvishā sounding name for what was, character concept wise, supposed to be a half elf student of xuen
turns out i didnāt like WW back then though and the alt got regulated to farmer status
if somebody is legit upset about such a common name being āripped offā, get a more creative name?

interestingly the quelālithien lodge hermits called themselves āhigh elvesā
and we know for a fact they were in quelāthalas after the rebranding because they were exiled much later then that when kael had already made it to outland and sent back rommath
there could easily be more that identify the same

Itās perfectly reasonable to expect the people who try to downplay their bad behavior and put blame on people calling it out as the problem and who preach āmove on, this is dramaā to speak up when their side is once again showing their hand that people have a right to call out like thats not cool calm down.

I think Iāve said this before in here but Iāll say it again. Itās nobodyās obligation to actively call out the behavior of others. I have no control over anyone here I canāt control you, I canāt control Alerovia, I canāt control Cezol. And I most certainly cannot control the person that is posting on literally all 50 of their alternate characters lol. Itād probably be pointless for me to do as well. Though one has to wonder with all the concern about what others are saying you donāt have much of a problem randomly accusing people of things like impersonation for having a slightly similar name as someone else with zero evidence other than I donāt like the way they act.
