To be fair for all we know they could have already decided and this could all just be a continuation of arguing over people failing to accept they didn’t add the natural hair options when non void skin tones came to VEs

I don’t need to the HE visual theme is as always available to Blizzards playable High Elf race 
If your desire is to further that then wearing a helmet or being bald is a way to achieve your goal
Void options aren’t further options to allow VEs to fully replicate the visual theme BEs have always fulfilled

True enough.
Though given their history of going back on things, small balm for those who do favor uniqueness.
In that case, though, people still have options and as my other thread has shown, even void based ones can be useful in that regard.
There is often a way.
The hostility though needs to stop somewhere.
Not be forgiven.

Yes I am, I object to the continued poaching of the BE visual theme and the pushing aside of the actual void theme that is unique to the Alliance and VEs.
You can go bald or wear a helmet if the level of visual distinction you have to have to be happy in game is total, but natural hair colors should not be given and in fact weren’t

The real thing is, people wanted to originally play as the High Elves of the Alliance. Then Blizzard decides to go by customisations, and then with this comment:
This is another place where there was a race, High Elves, in the game which hadn’t really been represented on player characters. Blood Elves were the closest, but had felt green eyes. It was an opportunity where we had a number of elven races, and we could tie it back to their roots, letting players choose where they want to align and what fantasy to play out. We did have a lot of discussion about it, ultimately we might do more in the future, but for now we’re providing the option to have a few High Elf customizations available.
Which means Blizzard wants everyone, regardless of what faction they are on, to have the chance to play a full High Elf, without adding another similar race, and more will be added for the Void Elves in the future.
Now, I agree, it isn’t up to the Pro’s. It isn’t up to the Anti’s. Everything we say on what we want or what we don’t want, is all opinions. And the endgame is, the devs are the one who decide. Not us on the forums. All we can do is make suggestions.
But the arguments from all of us is getting no where, and at this point, beyond a joke. People here, are more antagonizing each other, and it is getting out of hand.
I do think we all just need to take a breather, and all of us calm down. Because at this point, with how these threads just continue the same argument, it is going to get to the point where the forum mods are just going to give us all bans for all the drama we’re putting onto each other.

Do shave off your natural hair and your hair color then. Since you don’t believe in hair dyes. I don’t mean in character with that kind of ideal. Let me know when you went bald, then we will talk.
Don’t tell someone else to go bald because your ideals are twisted and skewed.

Glad we cleared that up then, Blood Elves are the playable High Elf race so no I have the visual theme I want when I play Blood Elves thank you for your concern however.
If my goal was to further look like a HE on a VE then perhaps indeed.
Pointing out the options available I do not care if you take the advice or not I think your Void tinted hair color you’re using is lovely. Now what I do find interesting is the fact you describe “your ideals are twisted and skewed” what ideals would those be? You think being against HE options on the Alliance is an ideal that is character telling? Because people do have ideals that are character telling and this isn’t such a case.

People that say this have literally zero basis for it because no other race has access to hair dyes in game, why would Void Elves, Void Elves aren’t special I know a lot of you like to pretend like you are but you aren’t so Blizzard isn’t just going to add hair dyes just for Void Elves, get real.

Blizzard could have added natural hair color options to VEs and did not, visual distinction remains in place to some degree, people who value visual distinction shouldn’t see their request go down the drain because people who do not still do not accept a compromise skewed in their favor.
I think Blizzard did the best they could, but they could have added blue eyes to Blood Elves and Void options to VEs with no mind for non Void skin tones what so ever and they did not, so a compromise where some of each side is heard is what it is and thats okay because what is done is done, what further happens shouldn’t be visual distinction continuing to be lost that is for sure.

I think I’m finally to the point I’m like not going to support anything for Void Elves at all anymore, normal, void, etc. because the people in these threads they just aren’t nice people.

I’ve been trying to cut back on discussions I’ve already had once (or twice, or three times) because we all know where it’s going.
But I do enjoy engaging with people who’re passionate, who argue with grace and kindness… and who may digress into silly jokes on occasion. Because that’s what I’m here for.
Well, that and “MORE LORE SENSICAL OPTIONS FOR EVERYONE ACROSS THE BOARD, PLEASE! I PLAY EVERY RACE AND WILL HAPPILY SHARE THE FIRST FEW THINGS I CAN THINK OF THAT I WANT, BUT I ALSO WOULD TAKE MORE GLADLY.”

Also I hear you I wish it wasn’t that way, but in the end I think Magnificent is right when they said before about the fact they didn’t give hair color options, and there’s only so much their doing for each race they’ll be lucky to get ear length stuff and some new void options
