Reality check people aren’t gatekeeping anything, Blizzard has chosen not to give Void Elves natural hair colors and people are entitled to have different opinions or feelings than you or me or anyone else in this thread or other threads.

The options exist already for Blood Elves the playable High Elf race on Horde in a faction based game with visual distinction being upheld to some degree people’s objections to further poaching of the visuals and further bringing down visual distinction isn’t an example of gatekeeping.

Precisely. So in the end it doesn’t really matter that some people ask for Arcane-looking EE skins. It’d only be a gameplay mechanic to help a group of people roleplay their favorite race/faction without having to dedicate time and resources to a new AR.

Again, I personally don’t mind EE, I got used to it and I actually like how it looks now, but I totally understand those who don’t, and can’t see a reason why devs shouldn’t add said Arcane options after seeing the contradiction mess we have with DHs.

incorrect, it is a problem, because your essentially trying to erase the entire void elf story and make it obsolete as well as retconning what the arcane is capable of!

We’ll have to wait and see, I think it’s telling they upheld visual distinction and like Mag pointed out before they have nothing left to justify further allowing VEs to replicate Blood Elves.

On the other hand if all they add to VEs is some jewelry and ear length options then maybe I can agree but if they actually expand void unique options then perhaps they will really moving forward stand behind their own vision.

I agree with the transformation. They should have changed up the Void Elf model like they did the Nightborne one. Nightborne got smacked around with the withered stick. Voidies should of been zapped a few times with the wretched wand. Just slapping a purple or blue coat of paint on them wasn’t enough.
