I just got my void elf fire mage to level cap and am trying to find a fiery look that goes well with the void elf aesthetic. I’ve noticed that some colors don’t look as good as they would on say, a blood elf or human. Any void elf fire mages want to share their mogs or any ideas? That would be awesome! Thanks!
For fire mogs I recommend farming the firelands and blackwing descent, as well as hellfire citadel / blackrock forge in draenor. Pay attention to the normal/heroic/mythic differences in loot color - especially with the draenor raids, a lot of the weapons and armor change color based on the difficulty you get them on.
The skin tones are going to make it nigh on impossible to mog a void elf well. Arcane mogs are good with the grey/purple skin and some frost mogs with the icy white skin tone but I never found a fire mog that looked good on them.
Better off to farm the heritage armor. That’s the only armor they look decent in.
Heroic fireland set should be good for a void/fire look, purple fire flames. There’s another set that’s blue with fire, has a skull hood. Not sure of the name though, but that could be good also.

I think you’re referring to the Firelord’s Vestments from The Bastion of Twilight, and I think it is a good option. I like Cyno’s Mantle of Sin for the the particles when it matches the colors of the other pieces. Mindbender’s Flameblade from Hellfire Citadel offers some extra flames, and the blue version works well with a netherflame weapon enchantment transmog.
