please add void elf demon hunters blizzard!
Could’ve been a class skin.
I cant believe were getting this before void paladins probably get gta6 before them as well.
Then they’ll have to add nightborne demon hunters too, to even the faction selection and balance.
ha! lol! lmao even! shamans, druids and paladins are STILL have uneven faction selection.
I don’t why Blizzard won’t let more races be those classes, all Horde gets is a cow or a troll for druids.
Shaman needs more races able to play as them…the current selection is weird like…Why can Nelfs be druids but not shamans? Seems like they would be a able to be both.
Also Void Shaman plz
I do wonder if Demon Hunters could be slowly opened up to other races or if it be an all out once kind of deal.
Technically, without a retcon, they would not exist, since Kael’thas and his followers left to Outland to join Illidan before the Void Elves even existed. And now that Illidan and the Burning Legion are gone, there is no one to train or reason to train new Demon Hunters.
I guess some broke Demon Hunter could open a “Demon Hunter” dojo somewhere teach Demon Hunter lessons or something ridiculous like that, that Demon Hunter could be named Johnny.
I think once players start to get past what they see are lore limitations, we will see a lot more classes available on various races.
Isn’t that sort of how humans learned how to become Mages, being taught the way by High Elves? I reckon you can get past anything with a bit of writing skills.
I think eventually everything will be opened up to everyone. It’s just a matter of when. For this it’s hard to tell if it’d be something in this patch or something they plan down the line. They put a Void Elf Pally in the pre-patch and they aren’t in yet.
Kind of, but without Illidan, training new Demon Hunters would be risky and most would probably die when they poked their eyes out.
(An yes, I am still waiting for Worgen Paladins).
I reckon Illidan needs to come back to Azeroth and leave the care and maintenance of Sargeras to all of those groups on Argus.
If he was on Azeroth he could widen the access of all races to being Demon Hunters, just as happened for Death Knights.
Makes moderately more canonical sense than Holy DH.
Just in that we fight Fel with Fel currently.
Using void to fight void and deny the Naaru prophecy would be on brand for Illidan…
I think Holy kinda does make more sense though.
Maybe something like balance priest is the answer?
Personally I think it’ll either be extremely cool or absolutely stupid, idk what I’m leaning more towards…
Holy if I had to pick I guess.
That light infused dreadlord was kinda dope.
Part of me wishes that didn’t even add a third spec though.
All of me hopes they keep the club Nelf/Belf only though!
And with that, after Blizzard bent the knee to the Alliance again and made a canon void elf paladin NPC, there’s now in-game precedent for void elves to have the other class that blood elves have and the former don’t. Of course, this could be another rug pull like all of the times they’ve teased night elves getting paladins and shaman.
Not a thing that exists within the game. And since DH players have been complaining about their class’s lack of a third spec since, well, forever, very few if any of them would be happy if instead of that, they got the ability to turn their spells from green to blue.
Ooh, that second screenshot is very interesting. Supports both the idea of void elf demon hunters and a void spec for the class. Very cool.
First opportunity to open DH to more races and people want the same crap elf with a different name instead of a different race
This community is truly lost
Yeah, but male void elves actually have some hairstyles that lend themselves to having horns. So that’s pretty cool. Finally an advantage to their terrible hairlines.
ESPECIALLY because ever since the Emerald Dream patch, there’s a narrative of reformed Primalist Night Elves trying to rejoin their ranks, and even using their elemental powers for something nice (tending to the land). There you have the proper lore to support the combo (as if a natural interest for the subject wouldn’t be credible lol…).
And the precedent? Man’ari and warlocks for Draenei pose a similar example.
