This will never happens so I won’t ever have to be told not to group with Alliance players because they won’t remove the faction barrier and I for one am grateful for that if nothing else.
…Because that’s literally what the game World of WARcraft was founded on, that IS the game…It’s horde vs. alliance. I didn’t know people were actually this clueless…find anything about WoW and it’s almost always horde vs. alliance…because that IS the game…if you want a different narrative you’re going to have to wait for the next Warcraft game.
Oh the only reason it won’t happen is because the devs have proved themselves to be incompetent and arrogant. But the game will just be one faction eventually. Gonna be hard to keep the alliance vs horde fantasy when there is barely anyone playing one faction.
You can want it…but I don’t believe it’s ‘owed’ to void elves and I hope it doesn’t happen.
I mean…seriously, stating void elves are ‘owed’ more from Blood Elves is kind of rude besides just being wrong.
Either be at a disadvantage or play the game the way I want to play.
Or…we could just keep playing the game the way it was founded and intended to be, horde vs. alliance…play the faction you want, buddy. Stop trying to fantasize about playing the one you don’t want.
Orcs vs. Humans.
That was the story. There was no concept in the first or second game(or the second games expansion) for a disolusion of these two factions.
WC3 calls for the Horde and Alliance to band together, but that’s as close as the rts games get.
Let me make this simple for you since you seem lost. List every end game raid that wraps up the story for that expansion. Did both factions come together storywise to defeat said evil, or were they fighting each other to be the “top faction”? Read carefully, I don’t want your brain to explode from the realization.
Oh look, someone who’s never seen any kind of dev interview or anything about the game…the game was founded on horde vs. alliance, period. It’s not going away. If you want a game where there’s only one faction and everyone holds hands, WoW isn’t the game for you. Move on.
Oh…wow! I didn’t realize we were in the presence of someone smarter, more knowledgeable an definitely more professional than the creators of the game.
They should seriously hire YOU for their team leader.
They are the same race. We have countless elves in our cities. We are owed those options.
yes good job, you highlighted stand alone games that can’t evolve without the release of a new game. And the reason it started to stray away from the orc vs humans narrative was because more races joined. Then in wc3 there were 4, all but the undead banned together to defeat the big baddy. Which happens time and time again in WoW, its stuck behind this narrative that really doesn’t matter anymore. But because people are so simple minded, they don’t want that to change even though it would be for the better.
The truth in this post is amazing and it makes me happy.
Then again the sarcasm and realness in this post makes me just as happy.
They aren’t the creators of the game, whats left is an abomination who are riding the coattails of the original creators.
It’s like he’s missing the whole story and lore, Horde vs Alliance through every expansion, let alone Battlegrounds.
So the game was founded on horde vs. alliance which is better than what it is now…and you want to ruin it further by making one super faction? Yeah, no thanks. You sound worse than the people riding the coattails.
Well you might as well quit now before it gets any worse.
What part of you aren’t owed anything don’t you get, these options were never yours or Void Elves to begin with they are ours Blood Elves are a Horde race not an Alliance race, they have been ever since they were added to the game and they still are going to continue to be today, tomorrow and every day until the game dies.
its like you forget they ignore factions to beat end bosses. And it makes sense to you that they were just fighting side by side and all of a sudden they hate each other, like that makes sense.
The Alliance and the Horde likely have too much bad blood to really become one group. Best you’d get is the ability to forsake either the Alliance or Horde and become a mercenary.
Again, removing faction restriction does not get rid of factions, it just means you can group across factions.
