Void Elf Customizations?

I mean, look at the current climate of the GD forums in general. It’s straight up bait.

I’d prefer unique customizations be given to ve rather then keep taking from be.

So it is a no from me

Not trying to take horde Identity, I don’t want your funky green eyes or your special golds. Technically horde is stealing alliance identity by having blue eyed elves in the first place as that is a characteristic of high elves which are on the alliance side, See Silver Covenant.

I’m not asking for the tans, or reds and such. I’m asking for the hairstyles and a little more color variation of blues. Also not all void elves are all tentacle cthulu monsters, see Alleria for more who is more void elf THEN MOST VOID ELVES!

No they didn’t got void customisation.

And no, Alleria is a special case reserved for character. The void elf cant find a ton of corrupted naruu like her.

Racial leader aren’t always like playable character. Goblin dont have a fat model, undead dont have a elf model like Sylvanas or a light human model like Arthas sister. LF dont have a human model like Turalyon. Regular orc dont have a brown skin like Garrosh.

Void elf aren’t like Alleria.

While Belves did get blue eyes, they didn’t get the new eyes Helves have in game (it’s a new shade of purple) they also didn’t get helf stuff such as war markings or more braid styled hair.

Blood elves are tainted by Fel, never should have gotten the blue eyes unless they became voidy. Their whole receding corruption stuff gives them the gold eyes.

Helf stuff?

You mean Farstrider Markings? That’s a BE thing. I support both getting those but that’s not a Alliance exclusive by any means.

I mean Alleria is more void elf then the void elves, she absorbed a dark naaru. She’s more corrupt than any of the void elves in the Alliance. So you are counter arguing your point by saying void elves aren’t like Alleria. That means they should have more of the baser non voidy customizations because they aren’t as corrupted as Alleria.

I actually do want model toggles for lfd, and forsaken, and one of my requests is for lightforged humans…

The army of the light is supposed to have diverse races anyways…

I honestly cannot take this character seriously without silver hair.
It feels like there’s a mop on my character’s head; obscuring his vision.

You mean a part of the blood elf had their eye tainted by the fel. Not only it was never said that it was 100% of the blood elf, it was also never said that it would be permanet.

In fact it was said that it would be revert but after a long time. But it was also said that the sunwell was both arcane and light and it is canon that blood elf eye change colour depending on their energy source.

We don’t see Belves sporting that, and since their culture moved away from cool colours into hot ones, and much more into a city-magister culture than a scout-archer one it definitely seems to be more a High Elf aesthetic than Blood elven nowadays.

At this point they have been separated for over a decade so it makes sense their fashion has completely changed.

Alleria is a remnant of Farstrider culture. Farstriders are a BE thing. Blood Elves absolutely should have access to Farstrider Tattoos.

Wrong, the yellow eyes lorewise was to represent the elves that is the most light magic leaning of them, otherwise they get their blue eyes restored in time.

So the void elf corruption might also not be permanent and could fade over time as well. If you’re going to argue one way, you have to apply the same standards to everything. If you’re telling me blood elf fel corruption fades over time, then you might as well say that void corruption can fade over time as well.

Alleria isn’t more void elf then the void elf. She do have more void power than the void elf player but her body isn’t as affected by void then them.

Alleria is more like a shadow priest. The void is her class. When she use the void she use it as direct attack.

Void elf player have their body changed by the void. Void isn’t their class. They dont trow bolt of void to their enemy. They barely control it.

The difference is like a orc warlock and a fel orc warrior. The orc warlock use more the fel than the fel orc but is still just a regular orc.

While you can make that argument for sure, I think that to keep these 2 races as separated as possible without just being a copy and allow players to hold some uniqueness, would be better for Belves to get more metals for jewelry (specially the males) as well as the runic markings we see on the BC cover and such. Maybe some fel scarings.

While Velves should get more traditional helf stuff like the markings, braided hairstyles, feathers and maybe some void jewelry.
IMO the current “disheveled” hairstyles velves have are also perfect for the more scouty helves.

If both were to get all though, the difference would definitely have to be hot colours vs cool ones.

But their name is void elf. Being a void elf without void make no sense.

The blood elf name isn’t fel elf. Its blood elf. They changed their name after the scourge attack and get the blood name because of the blood lost by all the elf killed.

Getting blue eye still make them blood elf because they still were attacked by the scourge.

Void elves can get more void stuff. Perhaps they are done implementing HE stuff for that side and it has been done to the extent they wish to do it already.

Blood Elves should have Runic Tattoos / Rommath / Farstrider and seeing how they do the NE tattoos I think that would work.

If Blood Elves get Void Elf hairstyles, then Void Elves should get Blood Elf hair colors. If not, then neither should get either. I really like them being different from one another in some capacity as Blood Elves have their identity, and Void Elves need to establish their own.

I would prefer Void Elves continue to get more saturated/rich colors for their hair, and I would love black hair for the Void Elf. They can expand VE customization with tattoos/runes, and new hairstyles.
