I was under the impression that Alliance Void Elves would be able to finally FINALLY acquire the high elven look we so long for sought, however, there is no gold color or white color hair option, just the same old dingy void colors we had before. I would post this in beta forums but despite having beta (beta not ptr) access, I can’t post there (already submitted a ticket).
I Just don’t understand why Blizzard is so against alliance playing high elves- As someone who’s played since Warcraft II- it’s something that has eluded me in EVERY incarnation of Warcraft. Seems to be yet another disappointment.

I didn’t know High Elves turned purple from time to time :0

I’m pretty sure they haven’t gotten their customization pass yet.

It’s because although you’re free to head canon that you’re a high elf, lore wise it’s all still void elves that have been void infused.
Honestly I’m kind of surprised they gave high elf fans as much as they did. Usually Blizzard would be very against giving a race to the Alliance that is next to identical visually to a Horde race.
Even the Nightborne have a different profile than the Night Elves they’re based on.

Disclaimer: [trigger warning]
I like being blue with dingy hair. Actually I prefer the aesthetic and mystery of dark elves way more. Velfs are perfect as they are and don’t need any whitewashing. Save that for Hollywood.

You are still a void elf. The Void elves joined the alliance
Everything void touched changes. They just gave you the option to be a little less corrupted.

People choose to accept the compromise instead of asking for an allied race instead like they should have.
Void elves are not High elves and watching the community rip open this race’s guts and force them to be something they are not is just sad to watch.

It’s not even the high elven look. The very first void elf, Alleria, has butter blonde hair. That should be the default hair color for void elves.

Alleria =/= the playable Void Elves.
They’re not the same thing uwu

The no compromise position is for high elves to be a full race, not just an allied race.
I agree it’s sad that the community has accepted blue skin and hair as the only option for void elves when that only represents a tiny fraction of void elves. Most are trained, like Alleria, and keep their original look.

Alleria went through an entire different transformation than the Telogrus/Void Elves uwu. Not because she is ‘‘trained’’. In fact, the whole premise of Void Elves is that they leave Telogrus only when they manage to have mastery over the Void.

Obviously you don’t remember the unlock quest. Alleria is most definitely trained. Or are you arguing that Alleria doesn’t have mastery over the void yet?

I want the black hair the Blood Elves has, but somehow not the Void Elves. Not sure why at least the Void Elves didn’t keep that color.

It is clear some people did not pay attention while they were doing the Void Elf unlocking quest and/or the events on Argus.
The fact of the matter is Alleria is not the same as playable Void Elves.

Nice strawman, I am talking about the looks if you read my last 2 posts.

The issue with giving void elves full high elf customization is that you also have to make sure blood elves have there own easily noticeable and unique customization options.
