I finally got my Heir to the Void title for all my velves to rock! Nothing new but it’s still nice, especially for my velf spriest.
If anyone wants to do it, mythic sarkareth just requires a group with high dps and lust to skip to the last phase when pulled and then it’s easy. Don’t have to do the mechanics!
Since the trading post class sets aren’t going to be class locked any more, I’m hoping we get the velf recolor of the mage set so my velf lock, spriest, and mage can all rock it and look cool!
Spatial Rift movement speed of the rift increased by 80%, duration is increased to 8 seconds (was 6 seconds), and maximum range increased to 35 yards. The visual effect has been updated and no longer appears for party members.
Entropic Embrace: Proc activation rate adjusted, now increases healing and damage by 5% for 12 seconds (was duplicate healing/damage). Now functions with absorbs.
Spacial rift looks pretty cool now.
And the fact the ability has been made less useless is awesome.
Not sure what they did with entropic embrace though.
The numbers they gave are no different to live no?
And the proc rate feels the same, potentially lower.
The void and the light can and have always been able to be used at the same time it’s just the control of those forces and the amount you’re using at once that determine if it harms you.
Disc priests have always done it (and all priests regardless of spec) and instances of it causing issues were during strife or doubts on the parts of those using it.
Alleria and Turalyon can also touch each other just fine by the end of the story in TWWs first chapters. Her doubts were effecting her control.
And beyond a shadow of a doubt we have a void elf paladin in the Telogrus Rift right now.
Last time I remember it being referenced was in one of the last novels and it only said he felt pain if she was in void form. That’s it.
As for customization, I’m a little annoyed that they’ve put together a whole team dedicated to housing and it’s customization, but haven’t done the same for characters and their customization.
In TWW we see them interact and touch both without their powers active and in the heat of battle. It stopped once she gains control of herself and stops doubting if she can handle Xalatath. It was her doubts doing it. With control the powers won’t interact in a way that causes harm.
Yes that is something that gets me a little annoyed.
It would be a very good idea for Blizzard to setup a team dedicated to new AR’s and Customizations for races as well as making that whole system congruent throughout.
For instance why do only a few races have tattoos when they all could?
I agree 100%. I mean, I’m no game designer, but it feels like it shouldn’t be too tough to just add a few things for a few races each patch. There are so many races that could really use it.
And I know we basically got that in DF, but that was only skin and hair colors. We need more impactful additions.
Yeah, and those hair colors were basically the same colors for each race… so why were they separate patches apart? Blizzard is mis-stepping on this customization concept. They should have had a team on this since SLs and had them working on adding things to multiple races every patch. If not juts every race each patch.
Hopefully this changes under Microsoft and Blizzard being it’s own thing but under Activision and Kotick basically they did race cosmetics updates so infrequently simply because it was near impossible to get them to sign off on the budget since it was near impossible to show them any profits it would cause.
Which we all know cosmetics is what gets people to to stay and play and get interested obviously but to those higher ups it was like getting blood from the stone without hard receipts showing “this course of action produces this amount of income” -_-
Based on what I’ve seen I get the impression Blizzard doesn’t have nearly as many artists working for them as they probably should have… IIRC there’s been a few conversations/references to their artists having an excessive workload.
