I think he is mistaken, though.

For one, Voidlight Everdawn uses the Void Elf voice. The echo-y reverb one.

Secondly, she has unnatural blue eyes currently only used by Dragon NPCs in their human forms, implying some kind of magical effect from studying the Void the same way the old High Elf Wayfarer NPCs had glowy blue DK eyes lol

Thirdly, she uses the new Void priest attack animations in the combat scenario in the Dark Heart quest.

Fourthly, her dialogue implies she is harnessing the void and light together.

So I would say she definitely is a Void Elf, or at the very least on her way to becoming one in full

I think it means she comes from a High Elf background, as much as Ennas and Lyria come from a Blood Elf one, both of them also use VE voice lines and models, and Ennas the green version of the same draconic eye color. She is a “high elf” in the same way they are “blood elves”

The original question was about the High Elf Wayfarers.

Implying she’s a High Elf who learned Void stuff and became a Void Elf

Yeah, the context of the question was something akin “where the HE wayfarers retconned out of Telogrus?” and the response was that it wasn’t meant to be read as that and that Everdawn is a high elf herself. So the idea that high elves have joined the Void Elves and ones such as Everdawn have become named NPC’s is 100% canon.

I still want a short beard for my elf.
Out of all the things i want, good facial hair is probably the top of the list.

Followed by tentacles on all hair and an option for nzoth style eyes.

But facial hair would be so nice.
