I would say you do it by mistake or virtue of your own bias and it’s pointed out to you and instead of then looking at the picture you double down, does that not then become intentional.
Pointing out the surface level irony is one thing without being too off topic as I felt you of all people shouldn’t be calling that out, let alone someone who seems new who for all we know doesn’t do it in every thread.
But I’m confident it’s evident enough. Despite my disagreement for HE customization for a community that continues to ask for dev time at the expense of other races, the fans of the actual race they play, and the race that mirrors them that is in turn effected by their requests, this thread can still drive a point about the important of Void Elf customization.
I agree. But I am a flawed human being. I tried to ignore his taunting. But he kept going, and then tried to present me as doing something intentionally, that I do not do. That it is somehow my “M.O.” when it most certainly is not. So I feel I can be excused for defending myself.
Besides, Lann seems to think it’s ok to “point out” the behavior of others. So he shouldn’t mind when someone “points out” his own behavior.
It’s not your place to decide what anyone should, or should not, be posting. And you were intentionally catty in your first post. You spoke of irony before as you tried to call me out for bad behavior, and in doing so behaved badly yourself, even if you don’t think so. Ironic indeed.
I think we as players are passionate about our characters, their lore and aesthetics etc. I know I am. I’ve written in so many threads about Nightborne customization options with options that already exist in game. I get it.
I just don’t think Blizz thinks expanding aesthetic representations of lore/story is worth it to them. It is so odd to be because it is such a critical part of MMORPGs they cared so little about in the past and seem to be doubling down now. It is a big disappointment for me and I think shows a real lack of imagination.
You certainly shined a light on a little irony… but you still don’t seem to realize you’re standing in that spotlight with me.
There was once a time I did consider you “friendly”, and it really disappoints me how you’ve changed, and how my own behavior has changed because of it. I’m disappointed in myself most of all.
I actually don’t cause them, if this thread is any indication. I do admit I react to them, which is something I’m trying to work on avoiding, but people randomly dropping my name makes that difficult.
This rings incredibly hollow when you had to bring me up in a negative manner to do so.
My viewpoint did change after Blizzcon and I realized that people have been taking these topics way too far, including myself. I’m personally trying to move past the drama and I’d appreciate not getting sucked into more, thank you.
Honestly I’ve been SO glad to see so many streamers point out how embarrassing it is that Nightborne aren’t getting anything new/have so little to start with. A central part of a recent expac’s story and we are a meme race bc Blizz didn’t care to properly invest resources. Nightborne aren’t alone though. Dark Iron, Light Forged. It is embarrassing that they promised they’d provide these races with more than the kind of broken minimal options they gave at their release and are now reneging.
It really is a terrible shame to leave the other three Legion allied races in the state they are, but most especially the Nightborne.
Even if there’s options I’d like to have for Void Elves, I’m grateful and fairly content with what we currently have and I have no qualms waiting till everyone else gets a satisfying array of options before Void Elves get touched again.
My own Nightborne Priest looks nice, but… she looks pretty much like you. With so few options, it’s a lot more likely for me to see clones of my Nightborne characters. More variety is desperately needed.
Agreed. It’s exceptionally rare for me to flag anyone’s posts, and it has to be something pretty egregious to get me to. I havent felt the need to in… I can’t even remember when. I can at least say for sure it’s not me.
