Void Elf customization request thread

Well considering your request involves more of the BE visual theme, god forbid you share the spotlight right?

Yeah you didn’t like people disagreeing with you, so you’re very aware of the other active threads and still made this one.

I think the forums can be great, but honestly if an echo chamber is the desired environment I know the HE community has a discord.

Mixed signals.

Also, to add onto this, if you change all of Paladin’s abilities just to bend around one race, that is no longer a Paladin. A Paladin doesn’t use the void. If you turn a Paladin into anything but a light wielding Knight, it is not a Paladin.

Did they seem to ignore context on you Nico?

Ironic I guess.

Someone else mentioned Void Elf Paladins. I simply replied that… while I am not a fan of the idea… IF Blizzard ever did such a thing (and I wouldn’t put it past them to butcher their lore even further if it suited their wants/needs/egos), that I’d like them to at least make an effort to work it in both with lore and visuals (spells use void visuals… maybe the spell names and icons are changed but the spells are functionally identical). I’m not saying I want it.

I recounted from the file (I have two, one for the breakdown of each option such as skin colors, and one with the totals) and it seems I did miscalculate when it comes to mechagnomes, I think I forgot to add the 3 paintjobs as they come after the Leg Upgrades option.

However, I see you are adding up the yes and no on legs upgrades, which I mentioned originally I wasn’t doing. With this into account, the total is 146.

You’re correct. It’s not. I’m just saying that if Blizzard was going to try and shove a square peg into a round hole, that they at least make some effort to at least try to make it work. Even if we all know it’s still a butchering of the lore.

There we go! Our numbers match now!

It’s ok to admit you read something wrong and move on.

No.

You’re all just trying to fight for no reason.

We’ve made our stance clear, there’s no need for this.

They did. They should stop.

So should Nico who has that same issue. Why I find it ironic.

It’s not lore breaking though.

An eye for an eye isn’t a good look.

Nico was not doing anything. This is no better than a certain someone wandering in and bringing up nonsense.

The one claiming that Void Elves and High/Blood elves are still the same thing has no authority to be lecturing others about lore no matter what name you managed to get.

It can be pointed out for sure, and the irony isn’t lost on me, I am not applauding it, pointing out the irony yes.

I think we should all stop ignoring context, irony is still irony though.

It actually is because by Blizzard lore a creature of super light shouldn’t be able to serve as a creature of super dark but they do and the reasoning behind it was that any race can be a Death Knight I mean really.

Death and Void are not the same. It’s only Light and Void that can’t mix. Death is not opposite of either of those forces, meaning they’re perfectly fine together. It’s been part of the lore since vanilla.

I stand by changing things as it’s fitting makes it where any race can be any class if Blizzard wants to spin it, so I’ll take my Draenei/Lightforged Draenei and Tauren/Highmountain Tauren Warlocks when the time comes because by then it won’t be lore breaking either by that logic.

Draenei/Lightforged Draenei and Tauren/Highmountain Tauren Warlocks aren’t lore breaking either. The reason they aren’t an available character creation option is simply due to their society not accepting it, and the player character is part of the traditional society.

To be entirely fair.

Bruh, don’t make me bring up Denathrius.

Supposedly he’s not what he seems which is going to be another rewrite on Blizzards part to fit this xpac. Lol.

Edit - I mean really they supposedly come from another planet but now they come from the Sire. Lol.
