Since I’m currently… stuck on finishing the Horde Allied Race Heritage set I figure I may as well start up the Alliance one.
Warlock, Priest (Shadow) or Rogue. Which class should I take this, which would fit the most.
I went Warlock.
Just seemed to fit.

My only velf is a monk, because I thought the interplay between madness and zen was interesting.
Could def see the appeal in a velf rogue or spriest though. Warlock kinda works as long as you lean more into its shadowy side and less toward its fel/demonic side (don’t fel and void clash in lore?)
Probably priest, but it triggers me a bit when I switch to holy or disc. I think rogue is a good overall fit.

Light and Shadow clash and destroy each other leaving Chaos (Fel) behind.
I made me a lock for the sake of leveling (I don’t heal others, so that route was out).
You too huh? Keep always thinking whenever I see a Void elf using Light Magic that they should explode or something.
Rogue seems kinda fun with their teleport and being called a Shadowblade.
You can also go monk maybe and be freaking Nightcrawler

My Void Elf is a Frost Mage. It’s pretty great, to be honest.
And about that “Void + Light = Bad” thing, Blizzard is really inconsistent on that sort of thing. I mean, the Netherlight Crucible, which was exactly that: a marriage of Void and Light together, to enhance our powers enough to defeat the Legion, is a thing.

Shadow Priest fits thematically perfectly with Void Elves.
Priest, since the heritage set looks like an Vegas dancer costume and traditionally, some priestesses had related duties. Also, priest is the class on which the interrupt immunity is most useful.
Highmountain tauren, the last one I need. Kind of shot myself in the foot so I gotta wait till I can continue that.
Warlock or DK. Doesn’t get much edgier than that. Bonus points if you listen to Evanescence while leveling.

Rogue probably best.
Although a warlock really seems like it’d make for a canonically overpowered character no? Mastering fel magic while embracing the void?
I like hunter a lot though cuz it seems the closest to the dark ranger thing.
Thematically I would shadow priest is literally it. But honestly mage warlock fit as well.
I think all 3 fit the VE’s but warlock would be best. They’re also really fun.
I only say warlock because I find priests boring but that’s me. You may really like priests so if you do, that’s also what you should consider.

I rolled a Lock but I find them a little boring, so deleted her.
I love my Rogue. She is nearly geared up now for SL. And a lot of fun to play. Assassination Spec.
