How are they supposed to get new weapons? There are no heirloom 1hs that they can use that have int on them. Is there a vendor to get a new set of glaives every so often?

i put on a thrash blade and a musty tome of the lost because it has int and i don’t melee much anyways and someone said on the forums they can use offhands now so i did. it’s awful but oh well.
retail moved away from “casters” being melee types. Been away a bit, but later wows don’t really rain down int one hand weapons outside of dagger that I recall.
Its not likw I see 100’s of mace wielding priests in retail. that is more a classic thing. that was in fact day of its prepatch. BE priests crap tons of them, +1 mine lol.

They do, and with the stat squish they last that much longer since ilvl jumps are smaller between levels. Even if you go 10 or so levels without a new weapon, you’re only about 6 ilvls behind, which equates to about a 4-5 stat point difference.

Any one handed int axes or swords? They should pop up as rewards sometimes for shamans, paladins and monks. They’d be dev dh appropriate.

Yes, if you level boosted your Void Elf DH or levelled it to 80 by next Tuesday.

Ok, but how are they supposed to get to 80 with the level 10 weapons they start off with? The only solution ive found thus far is to buy crap off the AH, and hope to get to like level 40-50 soon so I can actually buy and use the glaives on the AH. I’ve had to buy random 1h int swords from vanilla so far.

They didn’t think it through. It should scale with agility like the other two. This was a dumb decision.

To be honest, I’m kinda surprised anybody got to 80 without the boost. Does it get better than the early levels?

Yeah just relying on Battleworn Thrash Blade or one of the agi weapons ain’t great. They should either add one or let DHs use maces as well. Or even change the agi weapons into also having int.
At the same time, this. They need to make heirlooms relevant again. #MHRA

They need to redo the heirlooms so they have the changing stats like normal weapons have. I don’t know what is stopping them. The heirloom shields already change based on spec, same with armors.
