Void causes baldness?

You know, just looking at the male Void Elf hair options leads me to think… Does the void cause baldness??

I understand the half shaven look is supposed to look edgy, sure. But most of the hairstyles include some sort of massively receding hairline, mainly in the temples, but geez! Get these elves some rogaine!

You see any voidwalkers with hair?

Makes you wonder if Horus was secretly involved in the creation of The Void.

Check and mate! Lol

This proves it! Void = no hair!

Although just to muddy the waters, I’ve mained shadow for almost 20 years and look at these glorious locks :nail_care:t4:

Horus like… From Egyptian mythology? Or Horus the Orc Innkeeper in WoW?

Horus from WH40k.

Most think the sole reason he went bad/traitor because he went bald.

You merely adopted the Void. They were born in it, molded by it. They didn’t see the Light until they were already a man!

Consuming too much of any kind of magic seems to be bad for your health. Except for Light for some reason. The other kinds of magic causes you to either wither (Order, Death), mutate (Life, Void, Chaos). Or just outright explode. Which happens way more often than you’d think.

Though one could argue that Light primarily affects the mind. Since so many Light users think the same. Too much Light and you become a mindless fanatic i guess.

It’s the edgy widow’s peak made more prominent for extra edge, like vampires.

Technically, yes it causes baldness. To exist, Void energies consume massive amounts of mass and energy. It’s why the Void Lords need a being of massive power to manifest themselves into reality. Hair is matter, so Void energies would consume it.

It causes baldness but the Tentacles growing from your limbs serve as a neat distraction.

Well, to be technical, you only handle Shadow/Void magic, it’s not inside of you.

The void elves are different, as Void is quite literally inside of them!

Their hair styles are pretty broken and lackluster…

No, but it does cause incontinence, weeping sores, and tinnitus.
