I do as well but they don’t pay for professional voice acting. What we get makes the experience worse not better.
I’d much prefer they not say my name than say it incorrectly.

They could pay professional voice actors. I find voice acting more engaging than reading text all day.

They absolutely do. Look up the voice credits for WoW and you’ll find a long list of people with very long resumes. And when looking that up I just now realized that Garrosh and Scorpion from MK have the same voice actor and think, how did I never notice that before?

This is absolutely correct 
Ysera’s daughter (as well as a number of other NPCs of various importance) is voiced by the same lady who does fem Shep. (when I started thru Nighthold and Commander Sheppard herself started threatening me I almost turned around on principle. I’m not going to win against that woman!) and the VA who does Ashley also does a number of NPCs.
dragons (the aspects at least) have a history of being polyamorous, I think we should see Merithra’s partners and they should all be voiced by potential Sheppard love interests.

All main story quests are already voice acted, along with some side quests.

I feel like I’ve encountered a lot of voice acting moments in the game where ONE side of a conversation is voice acted, and the other side isn’t. Even in this last patch, doing quests in the goblin area of Ringing Deeps as a prelude to the Undermine plot, you have conversations where the troll shapeshifter is voiced, and the goblin SI:7 agent is unvoiced.
It just comes across as really awkward and unpolished. Kind of surprising Blizzard didn’t care enough about voice acting to fix even that situation. Can’t see them ever doing it for general quest text.

This is strictly not true. If you read quests they often use our name. Blizzard defaults to a title for voiced stuff since obviously they can get the VA to just do the 1 take and it safely works for all
