The final boss of Karazhan has been bugged for months. He continually resets when opening portals. Sometimes I can get lucky and down him but more recently I’ve been unable to kill him at all. I’ve tried all the ‘strategies’ to avoid the bug.

Why has this not been resolved yet?

This is pathetic. So many things in the game don’t work right anymore. It’s sad to see it slowly dying. I wish the powers that be actually cared but those guys are long gone now.
