Visual/creative augmentation spell aesthetic brainstorming thread

Hello! Some of these aesthetics and abilities might be silly or over the top, and there are plenty of current mechanics that could use work — this thread is just for fun and to catalyze some cool-factor brainstorming for future augmentation changes: what else might spell out time-bending dragon mage? What does weaving time, earth and fire together look like?

  1. Temporal shield spell-type visualization: A translucent sphere of bronze energy appears around the evoker or one (or multiple) allies that temporarily freezes incoming damage spell animations on the surface of the bubble, which gradually unfreeze and move inwards, giving time to react.

  2. Time-woven bond type of spell animation, coupled with prescience: Automatically creates a temporal link with an ally affected by prescience, so each time they score a critical hit, a tiny portion of damage or healing is duplicated on the target of the evoker, or a nearby ally or enemy, taking the appearance of tiny bronze portals opening above the head of the enemy or ally, zapping or healing them. At the same time, a small ball of earthy/chronomagic energy displaying molten cracks slowly expands above or near the evoker as they store critical damage from bonded allies with prescience, that when reaching maximum accumulated damage, allows prescience to be cast again with no cooldown, this time pushing the molten Chrono-ball into a bronze portal above the evoker and releasing it through a bronze portal above an enemy.

  3. Animations for diverting some of your enemies abilities into an alternate timeline could be visualized as a duplicate of the enemy appearing next to them that gradually fades and becomes transparent, and moves further away, as the efficacy of all abilities are reduced by a percent over time.
    Animations that bring more of your abilities into the current timeline could likewise be visualized as a duplicate of yourself that initially appears very transparent and gradually sharpens as the efficacy of your abilities increases by a percent over time as it gets closer to you.

  4. Even more ridiculous but fun: give evokers a long cooldown heal over time that in addition to a HOT, reverses some of an allies damage taken from the last ___ seconds, and reduces their most recently used cooldowns by a few seconds, visualized by a tiny animation of the ally near them, performing their last few relevant and affected abilities in reverse.

  5. Desynchronization ability and animation: barrage enemies with translucent replays of themselves performing different abilities for ___ seconds, interrupting or damaging them if they are casting a different spell than the replay of the ability that hits them.

What other crazy cool factor spells or aesthetics might be incorporated in the future?
