I’ve been really enjoying the new spec—its gameplay, theme, and core fantasy are all fantastic. My feedback is purely visual, and I think a few adjustments would help the spec feel even more cohesive with its Void-devour identity:
1. Several ability icons feel off-theme.
The icons for Consume, Devour, Void Nova, and Cull don’t match the spec’s aesthetic. The current purple icon style feels reused and disconnected from the Devourer fantasy. Since Collapsing Star and Void Ray recently received updated, thematic icons, it would make sense to revisit the remaining ones so the overall spellbook visually aligns with the Void-devour theme.
2. Void Meteors from Annihilator don’t read as “Void.”
The meteor visuals lean heavily into a bright purple palette, which looks more Shadow-Priest-like than truly Void. A darker, cosmic color scheme—deep blues, blue-black tones, or cosmic distortions—would fit the spec’s identity far better. Right now, the effect clashes with the Devourer’s more entropic, cosmic Void aesthetic.
3. Blur still looks too green and Havoc-coded.
Blur retaining its traditional green Havoc visuals makes it stand out awkwardly in the Devourer kit. Updating it with darker Void-infused tones, cosmic distortion, or subtle astral effects would integrate this defensive more naturally into the spec’s thematic identity.
4. Character creation options could better support the Void fantasy.
Since Devourer represents a distinct cosmic Void path for Demon Hunters, it would be great to have character customization options that reflect this identity—such as Void-themed markings, cosmic fractures, or Void-touched eyes. These additions would help players visually embody the Void-devour fantasy from the moment they create or customize their character.
